Abstract:The real data of on-site water consumption per capita and concentration of major pollutants in Shanghai were assayed. The highest coefficient of produced COD was in winter, the coefficient in summer was close to spring and autumn. The lowest coefficients of produced NH4+-N, TN, TP was in summer, the coefficients in winter was close to spring and autumn. Then the coefficients of produced COD, NH4+-N, TN and TP were 54.5, 6.4, 8.8, 0.7g/(person·d), respectively. According to the pollutants discharge load of per unit area, the districts of Shanghai could be divided into four levels. Different mitigation schemes were suggested according to the discharge load.
