| The present traffic noise monitoring points of Xi′an were set in the 1980s. However, more than two decades have passed and such points can not represent the overall environmental quality of the traffic noise at all. On the basis of the specific traffic conditions and road network of Xi′an, this paper proposed the optimization of three times which were arranged from complicated ones to simple ones to screen out the typical method of setting monitoring points to show the average level of the overall traffic noise of Xi′an. Besides,the defects of such method were illustrated in detail. |
