Abstract:In order to balance the fluctuation of wind power, it needs to operate jointly with the ener-gy storage device. On the premise of that the joint venture company of wind storage obtains fixedtransmission rights in the power market environment, a simple power system model including windpower plant, pumped storage power station, conventional thermal power plant and system load is es-tablished with the aim of maximizing the daily operating income. Considering the electricity peak andvalley price, power balance, operation constraint of wind farm and operation constraint of pumpedstorage power station, based on the standard particle swarm optimization algorithm, the improved par-ticle swarm optimization algorithm is applied to find the optimal solution. The simulation results showthat the proposed model and the solution method can calculate the optimal daily income of the windstorage combined power company and realize the maximization of the income.
