Summary of digital twin application research in field of safety engineering technology

Abstract:In order to systematically understand the application status of digital twin in the field of safety engineering technology and predict its development trend,the application progress of digital twin in safety engineering at home and abroad was reviewed,mainly including the application of digital twin in the aspects of dynamic simulation,safety monitoring,fault diagnosis,operation and maintenance control,predictive maintenance and so on,then the future research directions of digital twin in the field of safety engineering technology were prospected.The results showed that digital twin technology had been widely used in safety engineering problems in mechanical industry,aerospace,petrochemical,mining,electrical,ship transportation,construction,urban construction,public safety and many other industries.However,there were deficiencies in the modeling technology,data transmission technology,fault diagnosis mechanism,and risk and reliability evaluation methods,which should be focused on in subsequent research.
