城市天然气加气站噪声影响分析及噪声控制技术   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
城市天然气加气站位于城市道路和居民区周边。由于加气站地理位置特殊,声源复杂,与周边道路对环境的影响叠加,还要考虑通风散热等问题,噪声治理难度大。目前,国内关于城市天然气加气站的噪声控制研究的报道较少。本研究以合肥市长江西路天然气加气站为例,根据城市天然气加气站加气工艺噪声源及邻近交通噪声对周围环境进行叠加影响预测,根据预测结果和通风散热等工艺要求设计冷却塔安装进风、出风消声器和隔声罩,压缩机安装局部通风隔声罩及压缩机房东墙内安装隔声墙及通风隔声窗等措施。经检验,研究结果好于《工业企业厂界噪声排放标准(GB12348-2008)》中的2类标准的夜间50 dB(A)的标准。该研究设计技术工艺、参数先进合理,费用低且实际简单,为国内天然气加气站噪声预测及治理提供较好的示范作用。  相似文献

Noise is a major source of pollution that can affect the human physiology and living environment. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an exposure for longer than 24 hours to noise levels above 70 dB(A) may damage human hearing sensitivity, induce adverse health effects, and cause anxiety to residents nearby roadways. Pavement type with different roughness is one of the associated sources that may contribute to in-vehicle noise. Most previous studies have focused on the impact of pavement type on the surrounding acoustic environment of roadways, and given little attention to in-vehicle noise levels. This paper explores the impacts of different pavement types on in-vehicle noise levels and the associated adverse health effects. An old concrete pavement and a pavement with a thin asphalt overlay were chosen as the test beds. The in-vehicle noise caused by the asphalt and concrete pavements were measured, as well as the drivers’ corresponding heart rates and reported riding comfort. Results show that the overall in-vehicle sound levels are higher than 70 dB(A) even at midnight. The newly overlaid asphalt pavement reduced in-vehicle noise at a driving speed of 96.5 km/hr by approximately 6 dB(A). Further, on the concrete pavement with higher roughness, driver heart rates were significantly higher than on the asphalt pavement. Drivers reported feeling more comfortable when driving on asphalt than on concrete pavement. Further tests on more drivers with different demographic characteristics, along highways with complicated configurations, and an examination of more factors contributing to in-vehicle noise are recommended, in addition to measuring additional physical symptoms of both drivers and passengers.Implications: While there have been many previous noise-related studies, few have addressed in-vehicle noise. Most studies have focused on the noise that residents have complained about, such as neighborhood traffic noise. As yet, there have been no complaints by drivers that their own in-vehicle noise is too loud. Nevertheless, it is a fact that in-vehicle noise can also result in adverse health effects if it exceeds 85 dB(A). Results of this study show that in-vehicle noise was strongly associated with pavement type and roughness; also, driver heart rate patterns presented statistically significant differences on different types of pavement with different roughness.  相似文献

为了分析实际环境影响评价中常用的各种公路交通噪声预测模型预测结果之间存在的差异,并验证各预测方式与实测值之间的相符性,通过对选取的高速公路和市政快速公路采用各种预测模型计算比较,并用实际监测值对各模型预测结果进行验证,结果发现,不同的预测方式会造成预测结果之间昼间4~9 dB、夜间5~10 dB的差异,采用2006版规范计算车速和单车噪声源强,距离衰减考虑车流量大小的预测方式得到的预测结果与实测值最为接近。  相似文献

Travel on unpaved public roads is the single largest anthropogenic source of emissions of airborne particles in the U.S. The average impact of this source on average annual mean total suspended particulate (TSP) concentrations varies from 0.05 μg/m3 (Alaska) to 11 μg/m3 (Pennsylvania). When compared by contributions to the variance in state to state TSP levels, their impact is as great as the impact of emissions from all conventional sources. Common emission control methods include paving, oiling, speed reduction, watering, and application of calcium chloride. Total annual emissions are, in most cases, most economically reduced by either speed control or paving, with expected average control costs of less than $0.50/lb of emissions reductions. For most roads with average daily traffic flows above 100 vehicles per day, paving is shown to control emissions at average costs of less than $0.05/lb. In some situations, the costs of paving are more than offset by reductions in maintenance costs. Thus it would appear that, even accounting for the order of magnitude lower impact on statewide average concentration per ton of particles emitted from open sources, control of dust emissions from unpaved roads offers an economical means for reducing ambient TSP levels.  相似文献

A companion paper showed that the annual (1976) emissions of particles from open sources, those sources too great in extent to control through enclosure or ducting, in the U.S. were over 500 × 106 tons. Here it is demonstrated that on the average, a single open source class (unpaved roads) contributes 1.2 times as much to the variability of statewide-averaged measured annual mean TSP levels as all conventional sources. The nine other major open source classes do not appear to contribute significantly to measured TSP levels, due to patterns of source and monitor location. Although, on the average, the total contributions of unpaved roads to TSP are larger than conventional source contributions, the per ton contributions are only approximately one-ninth as great. Both precipitation frequency and adjacent states’ TSP levels are found to be stronger determinants of the between-state variability in TSP levels than conventional open source emissions. Several states, including NM, IL, AL, NJ, PA, CA, ID, ND, Rl, DE, CT, and WV (depending upon criterion of importance) are identified for further research on the feasibility, practicality, importance, and cost-effectiveness of control of emissions of dust from unpaved roads.  相似文献

Noise exposure has reached an alarming degree over the years because of rapid growth in the industry, transportation, and urbanization. Therefore, it is a dire need to provide awareness of the sources and mitigation strategies of noise, and to highlight the health, and socio-economic impacts of noise. A few research studies have documented this emerging issue; however, there is no comprehensive document describing all types of noise, their impacts on living organisms, and control strategies. This review article summarizes the sources of noise; their effects on industrial workers, citizens, and animals; and the value of property in noisy areas. The plethora of literature is showing an increased level of noise in various cities of the world, which have various health consequences such as high blood pressure, insomnia, nausea, heart attack, exhaustion, dizziness, headache, and triggered hearing loss. Apart from humans, noise also affects animal habitat, preying, and reproduction ability; increases heart rate and hearing loss to even death and loss in property value; and impairs the hospital environment. Finally, we have discussed the possible strategies to mitigate the noise problem, policy statements, and regulations to be followed, with future research directions based on the identified research gaps.

In the light of the rapid growth of vehicles and the ill effects due to noise pollution, there is a need to study noise pollution from the transportation point of view. In this study, an attempt has been made to study noise pollution due to vehicular traffic in Warangal city, India. It was observed that noise levels are increasing with increased traffic volume. Studies also revealed that 3-wheelers have a major influence on noise levels. It was found that the noise levels at all the locations studied exceeded the Indian standard ambient noise levels.  相似文献

Background, aim, and scope  The Yunnan snub-nosed monkey is one of the most endangered primates in the world. It is experiencing a range of ongoing threats and the persisting effects of past disturbances. The prospects for this species are not very optimistic because habitat corridors are severely damaged by logging, grazing, and mining. Each group of the monkeys in different areas is facing a unique variety of threats. Based on genetic analysis, Rhinopithecus bieti should be separated into three management units for conservation, of which the Mt. Laojun management unit involves the most endangered primates. Despite the fact that the vegetation on Mt. Laojun is in a relatively pristine state, only two groups of monkeys, of a total of fewer than 300, survive in the area. With this paper, we aimed to address the capacity of the monkeys’ habitat at the study site and the possible reasons for the small populations. Materials and methods  Rapid ecological assessment based on a SPOT 5 image and field survey was used to simulate the vegetation of the whole area based on reference ecological factors of the GIS system. The vegetation map of the site was thus derived from this simulation. Based on the previous studies, the three vegetation types were identified as the suitable habitat of the monkeys. The confusion matrix-based field GPS points were applied to analyze the precision of the habitat map. Based on the map of suitable habitat of the monkeys, the utilization of the habitat and the carrying capacity were analyzed in the GIS. Results  The confusion matrix-based field GPS points were applied to the habitat analysis process, and it was found that the habitat map was 81.3% precise. Then, with the current habitat map, we found that the mixed forest currently used by the monkeys is only a very small fraction (2.65%) of the overall potential habitat of the population, while the dark conifer forest is 4.09%. Discussion  Poaching is the greatest short-term threat to this species, particularly in the southern range where local residents have a strong tradition of hunting. Quite a few individual monkeys are still trapped accidentally due to the high density of traps. These problems are hard to mitigate because it is difficult to enforce laws due to the extremely rugged terrain. Conclusions  The results show that there is a great ecological capacity of the area for the monkey’s survival and a great potential for an expansion of the monkey population at the site. Based on the current population and its geographical range, it can be estimated that the suitable habitat area defined by this study can support more monkeys, about many times the current population. Thus, at least in the Mt. Laojun Area, poaching pressure is the main factor to be responsible for the low density of Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys instead of habitat alteration. Recommendations and perspectives  Based on these results, some suggestions relating to conservation can be made: Focus conservation efforts on the current distribution area of the monkeys and create a 20 km buffer zone; design a long-term plan for the suitable habitat outside the buffer zone to set up a wildlife corridor in the long run; establish an association for the local hunters exploiting, their knowledge on the animals to promote monkey conservation and stop poaching. Also, the map derived from the study helps managers to allocate conservation resources more efficiently and enhances the overall outcomes of conservation measures.  相似文献

NO2 and NH3 concentrations were measured across a Special Area for Conservation in southern England, at varying distances from the local road network. Exceedances of the critical levels for these pollutants were recorded at nearly all roadside locations, extending up to 20 m away from roads at some sites. Further, paired measurements of NH3 and NO2 concentrations revealed differences between ground and tree canopy levels. At “background” sites, away from the direct influence of roads, concentrations were higher within tree canopies than at ground level; the reverse pattern was, however, seen at roadside locations. Calculations of pollutant deposition rates showed that nitrogen inputs are dominated by NH3 at roadside sites. This study demonstrates that local traffic emissions contribute substantially to the exceedance of critical levels and critical loads, and suggests that on-site monitoring is needed for sites of nature conservation value which are in close proximity to local transport routes.  相似文献

On-board emission measurements were performed on 49 light-duty gasoline vehicles in seven cities of China. Vehicle-specific power mode distribution and emission characteristics were analyzed based on the data collected. The results of our study show that there were significant differences in different types of roads. The emission factors and fuel consumption rates on arterial roads and residential roads were approximately 1.4-2 times those on freeways. The carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, and nitrogen oxides emission factors of Euro II vehicles were on average 86.2, 88.2, and 64.5% lower than those of carburetor vehicles, respectively. The new vehicle emission standards implemented in China had played an important role in reducing individual vehicle emissions. More comprehensive measures need to be considered to reduce the total amount of emissions from vehicles.  相似文献

Rapid expansion of coastal anthropogenic development means that critical foraging and developmental habitats often occur near highly polluted and urbanized environments. Although coastal contamination is widespread, the impact this has on long-lived vertebrates like the green turtle (Chelonia mydas) is unclear because traditional experimental methods cannot be applied. We coupled minimally invasive sampling techniques with health assessments to quantify contaminant patterns in a population of green turtles resident to San Diego Bay, CA, a highly urbanized and contaminated estuary. Several chemicals were correlated with turtle size, suggesting possible differences in physiological processes or habitat utilization between life stages. With the exception of mercury, higher concentrations of carapace metals as well as 4,4′-dichlorodiphenyldichloroethylene (DDE) and γ chlordane in blood plasma relative to other sea turtle studies raises important questions about the chemical risks to turtles resident to San Diego Bay. Mercury concentrations exceeded immune function no-effects thresholds and increased carapace metal loads were correlated with higher levels of multiple health markers. These results indicate immunological and physiological effects studies are needed in this population. Our results give insight into the potential conservation risk contaminants pose to sea turtles inhabiting this contaminated coastal habitat, and highlight the need to better manage and mitigate contaminant exposure in San Diego Bay.  相似文献

The biomarker approach is widely used both in vertebrates and invertebrates for environmental biomonitoring, because it can supply an integrated response for multi-xenobiotics contamination. However, the use of biomarkers requires the identification of every possible variation that can influence the biochemical response, because ecosystems are generally subject to a mixture of pollutants, which can create additive, opposite or competitive effects. In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the use of biomarkers within marine bivalves, while very few data are available for freshwater molluscs. The aim of this research was to investigate changes on EROD and AChE activities in the freshwater bivalve Zebra mussel (Dreissena polymorpha) exposed to different pollutants (Arochlor 1260, CB 153 and 126, pp'DDT, chlorpyrifos, carbaryl) at laboratory conditions, in order to standardize the analytical procedures and to highlight eventual interferences on enzyme activities. Chemical concentrations in the mussel soft tissues were analyzed by GC/MS-MS. Main results showed a significant induction of EROD activity when mussels were exposed to 100 ng/l of PCB mixture of Arochlor 1260 and dioxin-like CB 126, but this congener showed also a clear competitive inhibition after 48 h of exposure. Surprisingly, pp'DDT determined a significant decrease of basal EROD activity after only 24 h of exposure, even if it was not possible to discriminate between the effect of the parent compound and that of its metabolites (DDD, DDE). We also found an interaction between the organophosphate insecticide chlorpyrifos, which does not directly decrease the AChE activity, and terbutilazine. This herbicide increased the biotransformation of the organophosphate compound to its oxidized metabolite (oxon), a much stronger AChE inhibitor. The possible use of the oxime Pyridine-2-Aldoxime Methochloride (2-PAM) to bring back the catalytic activity to basal levels was also demonstrated.  相似文献

通过对置于住宅楼底层室内箱式变压器引起的结构声污染进行调查实测,在对箱式变压器结构声传播进行声学分析基础上,提出了切实可行的防治对策,经实际工程应用验证,效果较好。对机房正上方住房主卧内降噪量为5.0dB,室内夜间噪声降为30.2dB,各层住户夜间烦恼度普遍从非常烦恼或烦恼降为有点烦恼和不大烦恼。这从噪声污染控制的角度证明了变配电房置于住宅楼等噪声敏感建筑物室内底层甚至更高楼层在技术上是可行性的。同时也为杭州市正在试点推广的箱式变压器置于噪声敏感建筑物底层提供了实践依据。  相似文献

Cyanobacterial blooms represent a serious threat to the aquatic environment. Among other effects, biochemical markers have been studied in aquatic vertebrates after exposures to toxic cyanobacteria. Some parameters such as protein phosphatases may serve as selective markers of exposure to microcystins, but under natural conditions, fish are exposed to complex mixtures, which affect the overall biomarker response. This review aims to provide a critical summary of biomarker responses in aquatic vertebrates (mostly fish) to toxic cyanobacteria with a special focus on detoxification and oxidative stress. Detoxification biomarkers such as glutathione (GSH) and glutathione-S-transferase (GST) showed very high variability with poor general trends. Often, stimulations and/or inhibitions and/or no effects at GSH or GST have been reported, even within a single study, depending on many variables, including time, dose, tissue, species, etc. Most of the oxidative stress biomarkers (e.g., superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, and glutathione reductase) provided more consistent responses, but only lipid peroxidation (LPO) seemed to fulfill the criteria needed for biomarkers, i.e., a sufficiently long half-life and systematic response. Indeed, reviewed papers demonstrated that toxic cyanobacteria systematically elevate levels of LPO, which indicates the important role of oxidative damage in cyanobacterial toxicity. In summary, the measurement of biochemical changes under laboratory conditions may provide information on the mode of toxic action. However, comparison of different studies is very difficult, and the practical use of detoxification or oxidative stress biomarkers as diagnostic tools or early warnings of cyanobacterial toxicity is questionable.  相似文献

The Southern High Plains (SHP) is a semi-arid region in which playa wetlands are the focal points of biodiversity. Playas are highly influenced by surrounding land use. Most of the SHP is in agricultural production (primarily cotton) with a history of arsenic-containing herbicide use. Metals influence reproduction and development in amphibians. We analyzed metal residues in playa sediment and whole body tissue of Spea spp. and Bufo cognatus metamorphs from two land uses: cropland and native grassland. Cd and Ni concentrations in B. cognatus tissues differed between land uses. Metal concentrations in Spea spp. tissues did not differ between land uses. Ba was higher in Spea spp. than B. cognatus collected from the same grassland playas, indicating differential habitat use. No correlations between sediment and tissue concentrations were found. Land use appeared to have little influence on metal concentrations and levels were below those known to cause effects in amphibians.  相似文献

选取重庆市主城区常见的3种道路景观植物——石楠(阔叶类植物)、小叶黄杨(中等叶子类植物)和雪松(针叶类植物),研究常青道路植物对交通噪声的衰减效果。结果表明:(1)在相同排列条件下,3种植物的降噪能力依次为石楠>小叶黄杨>雪松。对单一植物种,植物间交叉排列的绿化带对交通噪声的衰减效果比平行排列好。(2)不同种类植物对噪声的插入损失峰值所处的频段不同。针叶类植物对低频(<500Hz)噪声有很好的衰减效果,阔叶类植物对高频(>2 000Hz)噪声有很好的衰减效果,中等叶子类植物对中频(500~2 000Hz)噪声有很好的衰减效果。(3)选择针叶类植物和较大冠幅的阔叶类植物搭配种植,如雪松和石楠,可有效地提高绿化带对各频段的交通噪声的吸收能力。  相似文献

This paper is concerned with developing a practical methodology for prioritising measures to ameliorate the environmental problems associated with the abandonment of mine workings. Although much attention is focused on the pollution associated with on-going industrial production, rather fewer resources are going to develop methodologies for handling the environmental legacy effects of our forefathers. Of the work that has been done, much of it tends to focus on single, incomplete measures or benefits. This paper looks at the particular issues of acid mine drainage (AMD) in the USA, and develops a tractable way of approaching the problem of how allocated resources may be prioritised to maximise net social benefits. In particular, it advocates the use of a combination of established methodologies with rather newer statistical procedures to approach the problem. It offers a number of case studies by way of illustration as to how the methodology can be applied.  相似文献

Few studies are made on the potential soil Pb burden for a small city in rural environment. Data obtained by atomic absorption spectrophotometry suggest a somewhat weak significant positive relationship (r=0.27) between increased traffic volume and roadside soil Pb content. Median soil Pb levels along the most heavily travelled roads are 320 microg g(-1) while background concentrations are 200 microg g(-1). No significant relationship is found between predominant wind direction and soil Pb content. Zones where cars idle have only slightly elevated Pb levels. Older homes have soil Pb values exceeding 1000 microg g(-1); a significant positive relationship (r=0.59) exists between increasing soil Pb and home age. Schools, which are mainly located away from heavily travelled roads and typically of brick construction, have soil Pb concentrations at background levels. In general, the small city Pb burden is lower than in major urban areas. However, soils around older homes and in special locales, such as salvage yards, have Pb levels comparable to major urban areas.  相似文献
