Pyraclostrobin is a new broad-spectrum foliar applied and seed protectant fungicide of the strobilurin group. In this paper, adsorption-desorption of pyraclostrobin has been investigated in three different soils viz. Inceptisol (sandy loam, Delhi), Vertisol (sandy clay, Hyderabad) and Ultisol (sandy clay loam, Thrissur). Effect of organic matter and clay content on sorption was also studied in Inceptisol of Delhi. Leaching potential of pyraclostrobin as influenced by rainfall was studied in intact soil columns to confirm the results of adsorption-desorption studies. The adsorption studies were carried out at initial concentrations of 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1 and 1.5 μg mL?1. The distribution coefficient (Kd) values in three test soils ranged from 4.91 to 18.26 indicating moderate to high adsorption. Among the three test soils, adsorption was the highest in Ultisol (Kd 18.26), followed by Vertisol (Kd 9.87) and Inceptisol (Kd 4.91). KF value was also highest for Ultisol soil (66.21), followed by Vertisol (40.88) and Inceptisol (8.59). S-type adsorption isotherms were observed in all the three test soils. Kd values in organic carbon-removed soil and clay-removed soil were 3.57 and 2.83 respectively, indicating lower adsorption than normal Inceptisol. Desorption studies were carried out at initial concentrations of 0.5, 1 and 1.5 μg mL?1. Desorption was the greatest in Inceptisol, followed by Vertisol and Ultisol. Amounts of pyraclostrobin desorbed in three desorption cycles for different concentrations were 23.1–25.3%, 9.4–20.7% and 8.1–13.6% in Inceptisol, Vertisol and Ultisol respectively. Desorption was higher in clay fraction-removed and organic carbonremoved soils than normal Inceptisol. Desorption was slower than adsorption in all the test soils, indicating hysteresis effect (with hysteresis coefficient values varying from 0.05 to 0.20). Low values of hysteresis coefficient suggest high hysteresis effect indicating easy and strong adsorption, and slow desorption, of pyraclostrobin in soils. Higher hysteresis coefficient values in organic carbon removed soil (0.25–0.30) and clay fraction removed soil (0.28–0.36) as compared to normal Inceptisol soil suggest relatively weak adsorption and easy desorption of pyraclostrobin. Results of regression analysis suggest that the organic matter and pH of the soil play a major role in adsorption of pyraclostrobin. Leaching studies were carried out in intact soil columns in Inceptisol. The columns were leached with different amounts of water simulating different amounts of rainfall. The results suggest that most of the pyraclostrobin residues will remain present in the top soil layers even under high rainfall conditions and chances of pyraclostrobin moving to lower soil depth are almost negligible.  相似文献

Sorption–desorption of the insecticide imidacloprid 1-[(6-chloro-3-pyridinyl)-methyl]-N-nitro-2-imidazolidinimine onto a lacustrine sandy clay loam Egyptian soil and its clay and humic acid (HA) fractions was investigated in 24-h batch equilibrium experiments. Imidacloprid (IMDA) sorption–desorption isotherms onto the three sorbents were found to belong to a non-linear L-type and were best described by the Freundlich model. The value of the IMDA adsorption distribution coefficient, Kdads, varied according to its initial concentration and was ranged 40–84 for HA, 14–58 for clay and 1.85–4.15 for bulk soil. Freundlich sorption coefficient, Kfads, values were 63.0, 39.7 and 4.0 for HA, clay and bulk soil, respectively. The normalized soil Koc value for imidacloprid sorption was ~800 indicating its slight mobility in soils. Nonlinear sorption isotherms were indicated by 1/nads values <1 for all sorbents. Values of the hysteresis index (H) were <1, indicating the irreversibility of imidacloprid sorption process with all tested sorbents. Gibbs free energy (ΔG) values indicated a spontaneous and physicosorption process for IMDA and a more favorable sorption to HA than clay and soil. In conclusion, although the humic acid fraction showed the highest capacity and affinity for imidacloprid sorption, the clay fraction contributed to approximately 95% of soil-sorbed insecticide. Clay and humic acid fractions were found to be the major two factors controlling IMDA sorption in soils. The slight mobility of IMDA in soils and the hysteresis phenomenon associated with the irreversibility of its sorption onto, mainly, clay and organic matter of soils make its leachability unlikely to occur.  相似文献

Abstract

The sorption and desorption characteristics of four herbicides (diuron, fluometuron, prometryn and pyrithiobac‐sodium) in three different cotton growing soils of Australia was investigated. Kinetics and equilibrium sorption and desorption isotherms were determined using the batch equilibrium technique. Sorption was rapid (> 80% in 2 h) and sorption equilibrium was achieved within a short period of time (ca 4 h) for all herbicides. Sorption isotherms of the four herbicides were described by Freundlich equation with an r2 value > 0.98. The herbicide sorption as measured by the distribution coefficient (Kd) values ranged from 3.24 to 5.71 L/kg for diuron, 0.44 to 1.13 L/kg for fluometuron, 1.78 to 6.04 L/kg for prometryn and 0.22 to 0.59 L/kg for pyrithiobac‐sodium. Sorption of herbicides was higher in the Moree soil than in Narrabri and Wee Waa soils. When the Kd values were normalised to organic carbon content of the soils (KoC), it suggested that the affinity of the herbicides to the organic carbon increased in the order: pyrithiobac‐sodium < fluometuron < prometryn < diuron. The desorption isotherms were also adequately described by the Freundlich equation. For desorption, all herbicides exhibited hysteresis and the hysteresis was stronger for highly sorbed herbicides (diuron and prometryn) than the weakly sorbed herbicides (fluometuron and pyrithiobac‐sodium). Hysteresis was also quantified as the percentage of sorbed herbicides which is not released during the desorption step ω = [nad / nde ‐1] x 100). Soil type and initial concentration had significant effect on ω. The effect of sorption and desorption properties of these four herbicides on the off‐site transport to contaminate surface and groundwater are also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

An increasing percentage of agricultural land in Germany is used for oil seed plants. Hence, rape has become an important agricultural plant (in Saxony 1998: 12% of the farmland) in the recent years. During flowering of rape along with intensive radiation and high temperatures, a higher production and emission of biogenic VOC was observed. The emissions of terpenes were determined and more importantly, high concentrations of organic carbonyl compounds were observed during this field experiment. All measurements of interest have been carried out during two selected days with optimal weather conditions. It is found that the origin or the mechanism of formation of different group of compounds had strong influence on the day to day variation of their concentrations. The emission flux of terpenes from flowering rape plants was determined to be 16–32 μg h−1 m−2 (30–60 ng h−1 per g dry plant––540–1080 ng h−1 per plant), in total. Limonene, α-thujene and sabinene were the most important compounds (about 60% of total terpenes). For limonene and sabinene reference emission rates (MS) and temperature coefficients were determined: βlimonene=0.108 K−1 and MS=14.57 μg h−1 m−2; βsabinene=0.095 K−1 and MS=5.39 μg h−1 m−2.The detected carbonyl compound concentrations were unexpectedly high (maximum formaldehyde concentration was 18.1 ppbv and 3.4 ppbv for butyraldehyde) for an open field. Possible reasons for these concentrations are the combination of primary emission from the plants induced by high temperature and high ozone stress, the secondary formation from biogenically and advected anthropogenically emitted VOC at high radiation intensities and furthered by the low wind speeds at this time.  相似文献

Soil and atmospheric concentrations, dry deposition and soil-air gas exchange of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) were investigated at an industrial site in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey. Current-use pesticides, endosulfan and chlorpyrifos, had the highest atmospheric levels in summer and winter. Summertime total (gas + particle) OCP concentrations in air were higher, probably due to increased volatilization at higher temperatures and seasonal local/regional applications of current-use pesticides. Particle deposition fluxes were generally higher in summer than in winter. Overall average dry particle deposition velocity for all the OCPs was 4.9 ± 4.1 cm s−1 (average ± SD). ΣDDXs (sum of p,p′-DDT, p,p′-DDD, and p,p′-DDE) were the most abundant OCPs in Aliaga soils (= 48), probably due to their heavy historical use and persistence. Calculated fugacity ratios and average net gas fluxes across the soil-air interface indicated volatilization for α-CHL, γ-CHL, heptachlorepoxide, cis-nonachlor, trans-nonachlor, and p,p′-DDT in summer, and for α-CHL, γ-CHL, trans-nonachlor, endosulfan sulfate, and p,p′-DDT in winter. For the remaining OCPs, soil acted as a sink during both seasons. Comparison of the determined fluxes showed that dry particle, gas-phase, and wet deposition are significant OCP input mechanisms to the soil in the study area.  相似文献

Abstract

Adsorption‐desorption behavior of RH‐5992 [Mimic®, N'‐t‐butyl‐N'‐(3,5‐dimethylbenzoyl)‐N‐(4‐ethylbenzoyl) hydrazine] in sandy and clay loam forest soils was studied using the batch equilibrium method. Adsorption was higher in the clay loam soil than in the sandy loam, and increased linearly with RH‐5992 concentration, but decreased with increasing pH and temperature. The adsorption data fit better to the Freundlich, than to the Langmuir equation. The KD (linear adsorption constant) and KF (Freundlich constant) were similar for each soil at 5, 15 and 25°C and decreased with increase of temperature, indicating that the enthalpy of adsorption was negative. The exponent of the Freundlich equation was close to unity for both soils at all three temperatures. The low Ea (energy of activation) indicated a diffusion‐controlled process during the initial stages of adsorption. The desorption isotherm differed from that of adsorption, and the linear desorption constant, KD(d), was ca 25 times higher than the KD, indicating that adsorption of RH‐5992 was not readily reversible. Evaluation of thermo‐dynamic parameters confirmed the presence of strong bonds between the solute and soil. These findings suggest that RH‐5992 has a limited potential for downward mobility leading to groundwater contamination.  相似文献

Abstract

The sorption and desorption of diuron by soil samples from Horizons A and B (HA and HB) and by their different clay fractions were investigated, using two soil samples, classified as Typic Argiudoll and Oxic Argiudoll. The sorption and desorption curves were adjusted to the Freundlich model and evaluated by parameters Kf, Kd and Koc. Based on the data of groundwater ubiquity score (GUS), leachability index (LIX) and hysteresis index (HI), the risk of groundwater pollution was evaluated. The Kd values obtained for soil samples were between 4.5?mL g?1 (Oxic Argiudoll – HB) and 15.9?mL g?1 (Typic Argiudoll – HA) and between 1.13 and 14.0?mL g?1 for the different mineral fractions, whereas the Koc values varied between 276 (Oxic Argiudoll – HB) and 462 (Typic Argiudoll – HA). According to the parameter GUS, only Oxic Argiudoll – HB presented leaching potential, and based on the LIX index this same soil presented the highest leaching potential. Some samples presented low LIX and GUS values, indicating no leaching potential, but none presented HI results indicative of hysteresis, suggesting weak bonds between diuron and the soil samples and, hence, the risk of groundwater pollution by diuron.  相似文献

This study aimed to evaluate the sorption-desorption and leaching of aminocyclopyrachlor from three Brazilian soils. The sorption-desorption of 14C-aminocyclopyrachlor was evaluated using the batch method and leaching was assessed in glass columns. The Freundlich model showed an adequate fit for the sorption-desorption of aminocyclopyrachlor. The Freundlich sorption coefficient [Kf (sorption)] ranged from 0.37 to 1.34 µmol (1–1/n) L1/n kg?1 and showed a significant positive correlation with the clay content of the soil, while the Kf (desorption) ranged from 3.62 to 5.36 µmol (1–1/n) L1/n kg?1. The Kf (desorption) values were higher than their respective Kf (sorption), indicating that aminocyclopyrachlor sorption is reversible, and the fate of this herbicide in the environment can be affected by leaching. Aminocyclopyrachlor was detected at all depths (0?30 cm) in all the studied soils, where leaching was influenced by soil texture. The total herbicide leaching from the sandy clay and clay soils was <0.06%, whereas, ~3% leached from the loamy sand soil. The results suggest that aminocyclopyrachlor has a high potential of leaching, based on its low sorption and high desorption capacities. Therefore, this herbicide can easily contaminate underground water resources.  相似文献

Sorption and desorption of aminocyclopyrachlor (6-amino-5-chloro-2-cyclopropylpyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid) were compared to that of the structurally similar herbicide picloram (4-amino-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridinecarboxylic acid) in three soils of differing origin and composition to determine if picloram data is representative of aminocyclopyrachlor behavior in soil. Aminocyclopyrachlor and picloram batch sorption data fit the Freundlich equation and was independent of concentration for aminocyclopyrachlor (1/n = 1), but not for picloram (1/n = 0.80–0.90). Freundlich sorption coefficients (K f) for aminocyclopyrachlor were lowest in the eroded and depositional Minnesota soils (0.04 and 0.12 μmol (1–1/n) L1/n kg?1) and the highest in Molokai soil (0.31 μmol (1–1/n) L1/n kg?1). For picloram, K f was lower in the eroded (0.28 μmol (1–1/n) L1/n kg?1) as compared to the depositional Minnesota soil (0.75 μmol (1–1/n) L1/n kg?1). Comparing soil to soil, K f for picloram was consistently higher than those found for aminocyclopyrachlor. Desorption of aminocyclopyrachlor and picloram was hysteretic on all three soils. With regard to the theoretical leaching potential based on groundwater ubiquity score (GUS), leaching potential of both herbicides was considered to be similar. Aminocyclopyrachlor would be ranked as leacher in all three soils if t1/2 was > 12.7 days. To be ranked as non-leacher in all three soils, aminocyclopyrachlor t1/2 would have to be <3.3 days. Calculated half-life that would rank picloram as leacher was calculated to be ~15.6 d. Using the current information for aminocycloprachlor, or using picloram data as representative of aminocycloprachlor behavior, scientists can now more accurately predict the potential for offsite transport of aminocycloprachlor.  相似文献

Carbonyl products of the gas-phase reaction of ozone with 1-alkenes   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Carbonyl products have been identified and their formation yields measured in experiments involving the gas-phase reaction of ozone with the 1-alkenes (RCH = CH 2) 3-methyl-l-butene (R = i-propyl), 4-methyl-l-pentene (R = i-butyl), 3-methyl-l-pentene (R= s-butyl), 3,3-dimethyl-l-butene (R = t-butyl) and styrene (R = C6H5) at ambient T and p = 1 atm of air. Sufficient cyclohexane was added to scavenge OH in order to minimize reactions of OH with the alkenes and with their carbonyl products. Formation yields (carbonyl formed/ozone reacted) of primary carbonyls were close to the value of 1.0 that is consistent with the mechanism: O3 + RCH = CH2 → α(HCHO + RCHOO) + (1 - α) (H2COO + RCHO), where formaldehyde and RCHO are the primary carbonyls and H2COO and RCHOO are the biradicals. Measured sums of the primary carbonyl formation yields were 1.006 ± 0.053 (1 S.D.) for formaldehyde + methylpropanal from3-methyl-l-butene(α = 0.494 ± 0.049), 1.025 ± 0.017 for formaldehyde + 2-methylbutanal from 3-methyl-l-pentene (α = 0.384 ± 0.013),1.147 ± 0.050 for formaldehyde + 3-methylbutanal from 4-methyl-l-pentene (α = 0.384 ± 0.020), 0.986 ± 0.014 for formaldehyde + 2,2-dimethylpropanal from 3,3-dimethyl-l-butene (α = 0.320 ± 0.012) and 0.980 ± 0.086 for formaldehyde + benzaldehyde from styrene (α = 0.347 ± 0.059). Carbonyls other than the primary carbonyls were identified; formation pathways are proposed that involve subsequent reactions of the monosubstituted biradicals RCHOO. Similarities and differences between branched-chain 1-alkenes and n-alkyl-substituted 1-alkenes are discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

The fumigant 1,3-dichloropropene (1,3-D) is considered a major replacement to methyl bromide, which is to be phased out of use in the United States by 2005. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate soil–water partitioning of 1,3-D in two California agricultural soils (Salinas clay loam and Arlington sandy loam). The partition coefficients (K d and K f ) were determined by directly measuring the concentration of 1,3-D in the solid phase (C s ) and aqueous phase (C w ) after batch equilibration. In the Salinas clay loam, the K f of cis-1,3-D in adsorption and desorption isotherms was 0.47 and 0.54, respectively, with respective values of 0.39 and 0.49 for trans-1,3-D. This slight hysteric effect suggests that a different range of forces are involved in the adsorption and desorption process. Since n was near unity in the Freundlich equation, the Freundlich isotherms can also be approximated using the liner isotherm. At 25°C, the K d of the 1,3-D isomers in both soils ranged from 0.46 to 0.56, and the K oc (organic matter partition coefficient) ranged from 58 to 70. The relatively low K d values and a K oc that falls within the range of 50–150, suggests that 1,3-D is weakly sorbed and highly mobile in these soils. Understanding the sorption behavior of 1,3-D in soil is important when developing fumigation practices to reduce the movement of 1,3-D to the air and groundwater.  相似文献

The measurement of organotins in the various biotas of coastal food webs with stable nitrogen isotope ratios (δ15N), which increase 3.4‰ per trophic level, can provide a biomagnification profile of organotins through food web. In this study, various biological samples were collected from three localities in Western Japan between 2002 and 2003 for analyses. Tributyltin (TBT) and triphenyltin (TPT) were still detected with a maximum of 99.5 and 8.7 ng wet weight g−1, respectively. Unlike TBT, significant biomagnification of TPT through the food web (expressed by δ15N) was found in all three localities. The log transformed octanol–water partition coefficient (log Kow) of TPT of 2.11–3.43 was overlapped by, but was slightly lower than, that of TBT of 3.70–4.70. Thus, this study demonstrates that although these chemicals have a log Kow lower than 5, at least TPT undergoes significant biomagnification through the food web.  相似文献

In the context of leaching of surface-applied nitrate fertilizer to runoff, this paper evaluates the performance of five simple predictive models, based upon: (1) field capacity; (2) uniform displacement; (3) wetting front; (4) by-passing (preferential) flow; and (5) soil-water domains. Predicted behaviour and observed on an 85-cm depth soil are compared for leaching depth and outflow response. Predictive success of outflow by the models for 40 monitored rainfall events were: (1) 60%; (2) 52%; and (3) 76%. For the by-passing flow model (4), simple prediction of pedal excess flow (4a) gave a success of 80%; where calculations of the operational volume in preferential flow were involved (4b), variations from 20 to 100% success occurred for a range of operational volumes, the lowest volumes giving the greatest success (4c). The soil-water domain model (5) is a simple, predictive scheme involving the classification of outflow events according to antecedent soil moisture (θa); the method uses the mobile: retained water content (θr) at 2 bars and field capacity (θfc). Using soil-water domains alone was of limited success but when the domains were combined with rainfall intensity, the scheme specified outflow exactly. Thus, for θa < θr, no soil-water outflow occurred, even at high rainfall intensity; for θa >θfc outflow always occurred, even at low rainfall intensity and for θa >θr < θfc the simple by-passing model (4a) achieved 100% predictive success. The implications for fertilizer application are discussed.  相似文献

Herbicide leaching through soil into groundwater greatly depends upon sorption-desorption and degradation phenomena. Batch adsorption, desorption and degradation experiments were performed with acidic herbicide MCPA and three soil types collected from their respective soil horizons. MCPA was found to be weakly sorbed by the soils with Freundlich coefficient values ranging from 0.37 to 1.03 mg1−1/n kg−1 L1/n. It was shown that MCPA sorption positively correlated with soil organic carbon content, humic and fulvic acid carbon contents, and negatively with soil pH. The importance of soil organic matter in MCPA sorption by soils was also confirmed by performing sorption experiments after soil organic matter removal. MCPA sorption in these treated soils decreased by 37-100% compared to the original soils. A relatively large part of the sorbed MCPA was released from soils into aqueous solution after four successive desorption steps, although some hysteresis occurred during desorption of MCPA from all soils. Both sorption and desorption were depth-dependent, the A soil horizons exhibited higher retention capacity of the herbicide than B or C soil horizons. Generally, MCPA sorption decreased in the presence of phosphate and low molecular weight organic acids. Degradation of MCPA was faster in the A soil horizons than the corresponding B or C soil horizons with half-life values ranging from 4.9 to 9.6 d in topsoils and from 11.6 to 23.4 d in subsoils.  相似文献

The sorption of 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene and tetrachloroethene was investigated in a series of well-controlled batch experiments, using authigenic soil materials from a profile extending to 2.5 m below ground surface. Batch experiment techniques were verified by study with both pulverized and unpulverized soil at different times of equilibration, using two widely different soil:water ratios, and at a wide range of aqueous concentration. Sorption isotherms were approximately linear, with sorption distribution coefficients (Kd) found to decrease roughly 100-fold down the soil profile. Kd decreased with depth to an extent greater than could be predicted on the basis of the only 10-fold decrease in natural solid organic matter (SOM) content and despite significantly higher specific surface area in the lower horizons. All base-extractable SOM in these deeper soil horizons was operationally defined as fulvic acid (FA), although there was also a significant fraction that was not extracted by the standard base technique. The lower Kd of the deeper soil horizons is believed to reflect a complex combination of (1) lower SOM content; (2) a more hydrophilic form of SOM; and (3) a more intimate association of the SOM with the mineral fraction, affecting its accessibility, sorptivity, or both. For the deeper horizons, an increase in overall Kd by more than 4-fold was observed on solids treated by either base extraction or H2O2 treatment, demonstrating that sorption to remaining soil components could be dramatically increased by fractional SOM removal and/or chemical alteration of the soil. A simple regression model that divides SOM into only two types (shallow and deep SOM) provides a reasonably good explanation of sorption in all seven horizons and suggests an order-of-magnitude variability in Koc among surface soil and deeper horizons.  相似文献

This work merges kinetic models for α-pinene and d-limonene which were individually developed to predict secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation from these compounds. Three major changes in the d-limonene and α-pinene combined mechanism were made. First, radical–radical reactions were integrated so that radicals formed from both individual mechanisms all reacted with each other. Second, all SOA model species from both compounds were used to calculate semi-volatile partitioning for new semi-volatiles formed in the gas phase. Third particle phase reactions for particle phase α-pinene and d-limonene aldehydes, carboxylic acids, etc. were integrated. Experiments with mixtures of α-pinene and d-limonene, nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and diurnal natural sunlight were carried out in a dual 270 m3 outdoor Teflon film chamber located in Pittsboro, NC. The model closely simulated the behavior and timing for α-pinene, d-limonene, NO, NO2, O3 and SOA. Model sensitivities were tested with respect to effects of d-limonene/α-pinene ratios, initial hydrocarbon to NOx (HC0/NOx) ratios, temperature, and light intensity. The results showed that SOA yield (YSOA) was very sensitive to initial d-limonene/α-pinene ratio and temperature. The model was also used to simulate remote atmospheric SOA conditions that hypothetically could result from diurnal emissions of α-pinene, d-limonene and NOx. We observed that the volatility of the simulated SOA material on the aging aerosol decreased with time, and this was consistent with chamber observations. Of additional importance was that our simulation did not show a loss of SOA during the daytime and this was consistent with observed measurements.  相似文献

The objectives of this study were to assess sorption and desorption of tylosin, a macrolide antimicrobial chemical used in swine, cattle, and poultry production, in three silty clay loam soils of South Dakota and compare soil sorption to sand and manure sorption. The silty clay loam soils, from a toposequence in eastern South Dakota, standardized sand samples, and swine manure were used in 24-h batch sorption studies with tylosin concentrations ranging from 25 to 232 μ mole/L. Desorption from soil was conducted over a four-day period. Partition coefficients, based on the Freundlich isotherm (K f ) or K d values, were calculated. K f values for the silty clay loams were similar, not influenced by landscape position, and averaged 1350 with isotherm slopes ranging from 0.85 to 0.93. K f values for sand were dependent on solution/sand ratios and pH, ranging from 1.4 to 25.1. K d values of manure were dependent on the solution type and ranged from 840 L/kg with urine to about 175 L/kg when sorbed from water. Desorption of tylosin from each soil over the four-day period was < 0.2% of the amount added. The soils' high K f values and low desorption amounts suggest that once tylosin is in these soils, leaching to lower depths may not occur. However, this does not preclude runoff with soil eroded particles. If tylosin reaches a sand aquifer, through bypass flow or other mechanism(s), movement in the aquifer most likely would occur.  相似文献

Abstract

Chemical transport in soil is a major factor influencing soil and water contamination. Four soils and turfgrass thatch, representing a wide range of organic carbon OC content were studied to determine sorption Kd and Kf parameters for the insecticides chlorpyrifos and fonofos. The batch equilibrium method was used. The concentration of insecticide was measured in the solution as well as in the solid phase to determine the most accurate sorption data. Four soils and thatch were equilibrated for 24 h at 22 ± 1OC with aqueous insecticide solutions. Four concentrations of the insecticides, each <50% of their respective water solubilities, were selected for the experiments. After extraction with an organic solvent, the concentration of insecticides in the aqueous solution was determined by gas liquid chromatography using electron capture detection for chlorpyrifos, and nitrogen/phosphorus detection for fonofos. Data obtained were fitted to the log and simple linear form of the Freundlich equation. Mass balance Freundlich isotherm exponents n ranged between 0.82 and 0.93 for chlorpyrifos. 0.82 and 1.21 for fonofos, with r2 ≥ 0.97. Koc (percent of organic carbon %OC normalized Sorption coefficient) values were calculated by using experimentally developed Kd and Kf coefficients in relation to OC levels from 0.29 to 34.85%. Kd and Kf coefficients of both insecticides were positively correlated with OC (r2 ≥ 0.96). organic matter OM (r2 0.96), and cation exchange capacity CEC (r2 ≥ 0.90).  相似文献

Sorption of acetamiprid ((E)-N1-[(6-chloro-3-pyridyl)methyl]-N2-cyano-N1-methylacetamidine), carbendazim (methyl benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate), diuron (N-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-N, N-dimethyl urea) and thiamethoxam (3-(2-chloro-thiazol-5-ylmethyl)-5-methyl-[1,3,5]oxadiazinan-4-ylidene-N-nitroamine) was evaluated in two Brazilian tropical soils, Oxisol and Entisol, from Primavera do Leste region, Mato Grosso State, Brazil. To describe the sorption process, batch experiments were carried out. Linear and Freundlich isotherm models were used to calculate the K d and K f coefficients from experimental data. The K d values were utilized to calculate the partition coefficient normalized to soil organic carbon (K oc ). For the pesticides acetamiprid, carbendazim, diuron and thiamenthoxan the K oc (mL g? 1) values ranged in both soils from 98 – 3235, 1024 – 2644, 145 – 2631 and 104 – 2877, respectively. From the studied pesticides, only carbendazim presented correlation (r2 = 0.82 and p < 0.01) with soil organic carbon (OC) content. Acetamiprid and thiamethoxam showed low sorption coefficients, representing a high risk of surface and ground water contamination.  相似文献
