This paper introduces a novel tribocharging apparatus that utilizes a Faraday cup and experimentally investigates the charging behavior of glass beads. The novel apparatus mainly consists of four parts: an air supply part to control air duration and pressure, a powder supply part for setting the desired amount of powder (1 g in this experiment), a metal pipeline for generating a tribocharge, and a cyclone for collecting the powder that has passed through the pipeline. Four different sizes of spherical glass beads were used in this experiment. As for the results, the charge clearly increased as the glass bead particles passed through the pipeline for all four types of glass beads. The charge amount of the glass beads and the charge amount obtained from the pipeline had a very similar trend and absolute values. This confirmed the reliability of the test and showed that there was no disturbance due to external noise. In all of the tests, the net charge was observed to be negative for all glass beads. This agrees with the triboelectric series relating to the work functions of metals and glass particles. Smaller particles had larger charge amounts than did larger ones with good reproducibility. The charge amount of all glass beads increased as the supplied spiral air pressure increased.  相似文献

When transferring powder through pipes or hoses made from insulating material, propagating brush discharges cannot be excluded. To calculate the limit value of the resistivity of the insulating material, below which no propagating brush discharges will occur, the charging current due to the powder transfer must be known. This charging current has been determined experimentally. Based on analytical calculations and computer models limit values for the resistivity of the hose material are derived from these experiments.  相似文献

Electrostatic charges accumulated on wood particles through triboelectrification during their transportation and handling processes can cause hazardous electrical discharge which may further trigger dust explosion. In this work, tribo-charging behavior of different kinds of wood particles was investigated by a vibrating plate charging method. It was found that reduction in the work function difference between contact bodies might contribute to the reduction of tribo-charge generation, while the reduction of electrical resistivity of wood pellets could effectively accelerate the charge dissipation. As the particle size decreases, accumulated charges increase significantly. In contrast, higher moisture content of wood particles leads to lower charge accumulation due to an accelerated charge dissipation rate. Tribo-charging behaviors of white pellets, torrefied pellet, steam treated pellets and dark pellets have also been investigated. Compared to the white pellets, they all have shown a reduction on charge accumulation to some extent. However, results suggested that all of them have nearly equivalent tribo-charge density as coal and wheat grains used as references in this study.  相似文献

工业生产硫磺粉的过程中,由于静电等因素导致生产过程中容易发生燃烧爆炸事故。本文就是为硫磺粉的生产安全进行基础研究。国内硫磺粉爆炸事故几乎一个月发生一次,给设备和人员带来很大的安全威胁。不同材料的特性是不同的,摩擦产生静电的情况也不一样,本实验主要研究硫磺粉和粉碎设备中主要材料摩擦产生静电的情况,了解硫磺粉的静电特性,为减少静电的产生或者消除静电寻找途径。硫磺粉碎设备———机械磨中主要的材料类型是不锈钢、刚玉和碳化钨,用这三种材料制成的研磨罐对硫磺粉进行研磨,测试表明硫磺全部带负电荷,碳化钨罐研磨起电效率最高,刚玉罐起电效果最小,静电量会随着时间的增加达到平衡。用不同粒径的硫磺粉进行研磨,实验表明粒径较大的硫磺粉比粒径小的硫磺粉产生的静电略少。  相似文献

粉尘在传统结构的荷电区荷电之后,一部分尘粒被阳极板捕集,大部分带有正、负电荷的尘粒再分别被收尘区的管式辅助电极和阳极板捕集.模拟试验数据表明,收尘区具有高电压、低电流和板电流密度分布均匀的特性.工业性试验结果显示,应用双区电除尘技术设计或改造电除尘器,不仅可以较好地防止发生反电晕,而且能够将锅炉烟尘排放质量浓度降低到50 mg/m3以下.与传统的卧式电除尘器相比,还可节省10%左右的占地面积和钢材用量.  相似文献

为实现对煤尘的有效防控,进一步提高磁化水降尘性能,提出磁化荷电喷雾降尘技术,通过研究液滴在磁化、荷电情况下的受力,揭示磁化荷电喷雾降尘机理;通过自主搭建的动、静态综合除尘实验平台,研究不同磁化强度、荷电电压下溶液表面张力和雾滴粒径的变化规律,进而确定最佳雾化参数。研究结果表明:磁化荷电后的溶液表面张力和雾滴粒径随磁化强度、荷电电压的增大呈现先下降而后上升,最后趋于平稳。荷电电压为9 kV、磁化强度为350 mT时达到最佳效果,此时,与清水相比全尘降尘效率达到92.79%、提高69.63%,呼尘降尘效率达到78.59%、提高94.01%。磁化荷电的溶液表面张力降低,破碎时所做表面功更小,雾化后液滴粒径更小更均匀,与尘粒接触面积增大,可提高捕尘效率,改善矿井环境。  相似文献

针对在含硬夹矸高瓦斯低透气性煤层开采时,一方面煤层瓦斯抽采困难,另一方面煤层中的坚硬夹矸难破碎的问题,开展含硬夹矸高瓦斯低透气性煤层多向聚能爆破研究。理论上,分析多向聚能装药对爆破的影响,引入多向聚能影响系数,计算得出了不同方向上裂隙的范围。通过相似模拟试验,验证了多向聚能爆破实际效果;利用LS-DYNA数值模拟软件,对不同装药方式爆破作用下煤与夹矸裂隙的发育特征及应力演化规律进行了数值模拟研究。研究结果表明:多向聚能爆破能够将爆破能量积聚在夹矸弱化和煤层增透的方向上,形成以导向裂隙为主,大量分支裂隙为辅的裂隙网,在夹矸弱化和煤层增透方向上的应力峰值分别为普通爆破的1.21倍和1.16倍。多向聚能爆破能够在提高破碎坚硬夹矸能力的同时提升煤体中裂隙的发育程度,从而大幅优化爆破效果。  相似文献

兽药制药粉尘加工工艺过程中,由于粉尘颗粒之间或颗粒与设备、管壁之间的碰撞、摩擦,导致装置内部静电荷量积聚,激发静电放电,粉尘燃烧或爆炸的事故频发。实验主要通过包括粉尘与管材摩擦的漏电电流测试和静电放电火花对粉尘云点燃敏感性测试两部分。结果表明:单一药物药粉的静电漏电电流随着管材管径的增大,管长的增长,静电漏电电流逐渐变大;随着倾斜角的增大,静电漏电电流先增大后降低;镀锌铁管的漏电电流大于PVC管,电荷逸散速度更快。单一兽药粉的粉尘云放电火花最小点燃能量随质量浓度的变化,呈现二次曲线的变化趋势。混合兽药粉与单一兽药粉的漏电电流和粉尘云放电火花最小点燃能量的测试结果的变化趋势是一致的。  相似文献

While filling a large silo with coarse nonconductive powders, strong electrostatic sparks known as a cone discharge, which can become sufficiently energized to ignite a flammable dust cloud, often occur on the surface of a powder heap. In an attempt to mitigate or eliminate a cone discharge, a long metal rod with a pointed tip or a flat tip was vertically installed in the center of an experimental silo (1.5 m in diameter, 2 m in effective height) with the objective that the static charge might be released by the corona discharges or the surface potential of the powder heap reduced by the electric field reducing effect. The experimental results are summarized as follows:(1) No cone discharges were observed while the silo was being filled with polypropylene pellets when either a pointed tip or a flat-tip rod was installed so that its lower end was located 10 cm above or 30 cm below the heap surface level. A corona discharge that occurred on the pointed tip was shown to be effective to some extent in reducing the charge of the powder heap.(2) Brush discharges were observed near the metal rod and its support. However, we assume that the maximum energy was not high enough to ignite a dust cloud with minimum ignition energy greater than 3 mJ.  相似文献

为了分析瓶级聚酯切片(PET)生产过程中分析筛处理量对其静电带电特性的影响,基于颗粒振动摩擦带电模拟试验,研究单颗粒PET振动摩擦带电饱和量以及多颗粒PET振动带电荷质比数据。结果表明:瓶级PET产品静电半衰期超过80 ks;PET单颗粒与金属分析筛碰撞摩擦时带电量随振动时间增加趋于饱和,且单粒子荷质比大小可超过16 nC·g-1;随着分析筛内PET总质量增加,PET颗粒间碰撞几率增加,但PET的荷质比值迅速降低。利用工业振动筛处理PET时,应尽量提高总颗粒处理量以控制颗粒带电,抑制静电对粉尘吸附作用,有利于脱除切片中携带的粉尘。  相似文献

为实现风送管道物料静电监测与控制,预防料仓静电燃爆事故,提高聚烯烃装置料仓安全水平,基于非平衡式双极性离子风消电技术,开发了双极性离子风消电器;基于离子风消电器和静电监测器,探讨了石化粉体料仓用离子风消电控制系统组成、电路、气路布局;对非平衡式双极性离子风消电系统进行现场应用测试。结果表明:基于此管道粉体消静电技术,合理调节正、负侧控制电压,可有效控制管道物料荷质比稳定在±0.3 μC/kg以内,保障聚烯烃装置料仓安全、稳定运行。  相似文献

In industrial conditions, there are different kinds of installations endangered by an explosion of dust–gas mixtures. In order to prevent them from any consequences of potential explosions, active protection systems which use extinguishing powders, as the suppressing material, are more and more widely applied. It often happens that the industrial installations are additionally endangered by an action of mechanical vibrations. In the above-mentioned conditions, the extinguishing powder tends to aggregate, making the process of dispersing it in the protected areas more difficult.

The results of research into optimization of the shape, number of igniters and miniaturization of the explosive charge mass are presented. In case of occurrence of the mechanical vibrations in the installations that cause aggregation of the suppressing powder, the best solution was modification of the perforated combustion chamber located inside the extinguisher. As a result of that, a certain amount of gases generated in the course of combustion of the main charge is directed over the membrane, where the gases crash a layer of aggregated powder. Thus, the process of pushing the powder out from a container towards the dispersing head improves considerably and consequently increases the efficiency of the explosion-suppressing process.  相似文献

Spraying water under high pressure generates charge-separating processes. While cleaning tanks and vessels in which an explosive atmosphere is present, an explosion may occur in the event of a resulting discharge. Water forms electrical double layers at the phase boundaries. Mechanical separation processes dissolve the water into many drops. This leads to charge separation and the charging of the sprayed water. The mechanical separation processes include water exiting from the nozzle, hydrodynamic instability in the jet and impact with an obstacle. Given that water has many charge carriers, the charge is stronger than with solvents. Whether the charges and the resulting discharges are potentially capable of igniting an explosive atmosphere must be investigated. The aim of this research is to define the quantity and polarity of the electrostatic charges of sprayed water under high pressure. Different measurement techniques and methods are used to enable mutual validation and to generate verified measurement results of the electric field and the potential. Water of different electrical conductivity is sprayed in free space and into a grounded conductive 1 m3 vessel. Design changes to the vessel allow centric or oblique spraying. The result is intended to extend the scope of application of the German regulation TRGS 727 and the international IEC TS 60079-32-1, which refer to ignition hazards due to electrostatic charging. As a method to prevent or mitigate electrostatic charge and/or discharges, we have developed a novel AC electrostatic ionizer. In this study, we evaluated experimentally the practical version of the novel AC electrostatic ionizer with a modeling test system and a pneumatic powder transport facility. In addition, electrostatic discharges generated inside a silo while loading polypropylene (PP, 3 mm) granules were observed visually with/without the novel AC ionizer. The specific charge was clearly decreased with the novel AC electrostatic ionizer. The specific charge obtained with the four arranged AC electrostatic ionizers used was approximately one eighth of that without the AC ionizer. The incendiary bulk surface discharges completely died out inside the silo by using the four arranged ionizers.  相似文献

We investigated the charge generated on bedclothes (cotton and polyester) during bedding exchange with different humidities and the ignitability of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (72.3 mass% ethanol) due to static spark with different temperatures to identify the hazards of electrostatic shocks and ignitions occurring previously in medical facilities. The results indicated that charging of the polyester bedclothes may induce a human body potential of over about 10?kV, resulting in shocks even at a relative humidity of 50%, and a human body potential of higher than about 8?kV can cause a risk for the ignition of the hand sanitizer. The grounding of human bodies via footwear and flooring, therefore, is essential to avoid such hazards (or to reduce such risks).  相似文献

为研究可靠点燃主装药,性能稳定的B/KNO3点火药,对不同配比的B/KNO3进行配制并对其性能进行测试。不同配比B/KNO3在火焰感度、静电火花感度、撞击感度、摩擦感度4项外界刺激中,除了对撞击非常钝感之外,对其他3项外界刺激敏感。在不同比例的药中,以B/KNO3比例为50:50,粘结剂为X的药火焰感度最高,稳定性好;静电火花感度随B/KNO3中B比例提高而降低,摩擦感度随B/KNO3中B比例提高而提高,但当中B比例从40%提高到50%时,这两感度改变不多。分析得出B/KNO3比例为50:50,粘结剂为X的药满足对主装药点火可靠,稳定性好。  相似文献
