pH及光照对两种赤潮甲藻种群生长和胞外碳酸酐酶活性的影响 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
研究了pH和光照强度对两种赤潮甲藻(Prorocentrum donghaiense和Karlodinium micrum)的种群生长及其胞外碳酸酐酶(CA)活性的影响。结果表明,pH 7.5、光照强度30μmol/(m2.s)是两种微藻的最适种群生长条件,在种群生长的最适pH和光照强度下,胞外CA活性最大。最适培养条件下,两种甲藻胞外碳酸酐酶活性随着种群生长周期而变化,指数生长期至平台期CA酶活增加,平台期至衰退期CA酶活降低,平台期胞外CA活性最大。 相似文献

The Southern African Savannas Network and the Southern African Vulnerability Initiative used study areas and information from a wide range of sources to assess threats and opportunities to savanna sustainability from a natural and social science perspective, respectively. This paper describes an attempt to synthesise their findings using structural analysis. Key driving processes, main dependent processes, and processes that are inherent to most interactions by having both high driving power and high dependency, were identified. Qualitative examination reveals that while many of the changes within savannas reinforce each other, many of the key driving factors are generated externally, such as economic globalisation and climate change. In order to take advantage of opportunities and address challenges within such a complex and dynamic system, future interventions must address the different elements of savannas in a coherent and multi-sectoral manner. Within the large social, economic and environmental changes taking place over the past decade, changes in institutions and technologies and in indigenous fauna and flora continue to play a central role both in driving, and being dependent on, other processes and must continue to be a key focus of any coherent savanna policy. 相似文献

The effects of land tenure change on sustainability: human security and environmental change in southern African savannas 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Using a human security perspective, we investigate how the history of land tenure changes has driven sustainability in southern African savannas. The paper examines four countries—Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Two research questions are addressed: first, how has colonial land tenure and distribution affected people's options and capacity to end, mitigate or adapt to risks to their human, environmental and social rights, and what have been the related effects on land uses and degradation? Second, to what extent have post-independence land reforms addressed threats to human security and political causes of land degradation? The inequitable distribution of land and colonial legacy of dual or pluralistic systems of tenure are found to be at the root of many agrarian and environmental problems. Post-independence land reforms have largely failed to address these fundamental issues, sometimes even reinforcing threats to social, economic and environmental sustainability. The skewed distribution of land and resources, insecure rights, and the marginalisation and restriction of savanna livelihood systems have persisted, undermining human security and environmental integrity in the region as well as leading to mounting conflict and insecurity. 相似文献

通过对地层分区与板块构造关系的分析,依据华东地区前寒武纪地质事件主要特点及划分原则.在充分了解现代构造观和基本地质事实基础上,建议将华东地区“晋宁运动二幕”改为“休宁上升‘”;“栏杆运动”和“霍丘运动”改为“栏杆上升”和“霍丘上升”.因为它们不具备造山运动性质。通过对新太古代末蚌埠运动、古元古代末龙川运动、迪口运动,中元古代末凤阳运动、青白田纪内部神功运动的特点分析,认为区内经历了新太古代陆核的生成;占元占代褶皱变质和混合岩化;凤阳运动和神功运动造成了华北古板块、扬子古板块和华夏古板块的拼合等演化阶段;并发生了四次造山运动和三次裂陷运动。 相似文献

Increasing land pressure during the past three to four decades has transformed farming systems in the mid-altitude zone of East Africa. Traditional millet-, cotton-, sugarcane- and/or banana-based farming systems with an important fallow and/or grazing component have evolved into continuously cultivated cassava or cassava/maize-based systems. Within three to four decades, cassava cultivation increased from 1–11 to 16–55% of cropped fields in our six study sites. Declining soil fertility, and not labour or food shortage, was apparently the primary trigger for this transformation. The land use changes have increased nutrient offtakes and reduced nutrient recycling rates. Cassava and maize now account for 50–90% of nutrient removal. Whereas single-season fallows were the most important source of nutrient recycling on cropped fields in the past, currently cassava litterfall and maize stover contribute roughly 70% of nutrient recycling, with 50–70% of N, P and K recycled in cassava litterfall. This may explain why many farmers reason that cassava ‘rests’ the soil. With increasing land use pressure farmers progressively use cassava as an ‘imitation fallow’ throughout their farm. Farmers increasingly target cassava to poor fertility fields characterized by low pH and available P. High cassava intensities are nonetheless maintained on more fertile fields, probably to guarantee regeneration of soil fertility on all fields. Once cassava is targeted to poor fertility soils, farmers have run out of low-input management options and need to intensify management to maintain system productivity. As cassava is now used by more farmers and on a larger acreage than fallowing in the studied farming systems, cassava cropping could perhaps serve as an excellent entry point to strengthen system sustainability. 相似文献

The adult bone marrow stroma contains a subset of nonhematopoietic cells referred to as mesenchymal stem or mesenchymal progenitor cells (MSC). These cells have the capacity to undergo extensive replication in an undifferentiated state ex vivo. In addition, MSC have the potential to develop either in vitro or in vivo into distinct mesenchymal tissues, including bone, cartilage, fat, tendon, muscle, and marrow stroma, which suggest these cells as an attractive cell source for tissue engineering approaches. The interest in modern biological technologies such as tissue engineering has dramatically increased since it is feasible to isolate living, healthy cells from the body, expand them under cell culture conditions, combine them with biocompatible carrier materials and retransplant them into patients. Therefore, tissue engineering gives the opportunity to generate living substitutes for tissues and organs, which may overcome the drawbacks of classical tissue reconstruction: lacking quality and quantity of autologous grafts, immunogenicity of allogenic grafts and loosening of alloplastic implants. Due to the prerequisite for tissue engineering to ensure a sufficient number of tissue specific cells without donor site morbidity, much attention has been drawn to multipotential progenitor cells such as embryonic stem cells, periosteal cells and mesenchymal stem cells. In this report we review the state of the art in tissue engineering with mesenchymal stem and mesenchymal progenitor cells with emphasis on bone and cartilage reconstruction. Past global efforts at dealing with the problem of global warming concentrated on mitigation, with the aim of reducing and
possibly stabilizing greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations in the atmosphere. With the slow progress in achieving this, adaptation
was viewed as a viable option to reduce the vulnerability to the anticipated negative impacts of global warming. It is increasingly
realized that mitigation and adaptation should not be pursued independent of each other but as complements. This has resulted
in the recent calls for the integration of adaptation into mitigation strategies. However, integrating mitigation and adaptation
into climate change concerns is not a completely new idea in the African Sahel. The region is characterized by severe and
frequent droughts with records dating back into centuries. The local populations in this region, through their indigenous
knowledge systems, have developed and implemented extensive mitigation and adaptation strategies that have enabled them reduce
their vulnerability to past climate variability and change, which exceed those predicted by models of future climate change.
However, this knowledge is rarely taken into consideration in the design and implementation of modern mitigation and adaptation
strategies. This paper highlights some indigenous mitigation and adaptation strategies that have been practiced in the Sahel,
and the benefits of integrating indigenous knowledge into formal climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. Incorporating
indigenous knowledge can add value to the development of sustainable climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies that

江汉平原水体氮污染问题日趋严重,但相关研究仍较为薄弱。以江汉平原东部为研究区,对区内459组浅层地下水样品的水化学成分进行测试分析,旨在查明地下水氮污染的空间分布特征,并探讨地下水氮污染的成因机制。结果显示:硝态氮在孔隙潜水中明显富集,最高约300 mg/L,而高含量的氨氮则集中分布于中层孔隙承压水,平均值达2.58 mg/L;孔隙潜水中NO_3~-含量随着Cl~-含量的增高而表现出增高趋势,指示了浅层地下水中NO_3~-是人类工农业活动输入的结果;中层孔隙承压水处于富含有机质的强还原环境,NH_3-N含量随着DOC含量的增高而表现出增高趋势,且高含量的NH_3-N对应着低含量的Cl~-,表明该层地下水中NH_3-N主要为天然来源,而非人类活动输入。氧化还原环境控制着区域内浅层地下水中氮的赋存形态,在氧化环境下主要以硝态氮的形式存在,而在还原环境下主要以氨氮的形式存在。 相似文献

The European land leech Xerobdella lecomtei was discovered in 1868 and is one of the rarest animals on Earth. During the 1960s, several individuals of these approx.
40 mm long, cold-adapted terrestrial annelids that inhabit the moist soils of birch forests around Graz, Austria, were investigated.
Only one original research paper has been published on the biology of this species. Between 2001 and 2005, we re-investigated
the morphology of preserved specimens and searched for living individuals in their natural habitat that appeared to be intact.
We found only one juvenile individual (length approx. 10 mm), indicating that this local leech population became largely extinct
over the past four decades. The feeding behaviour of our ‘lonesome George of the annelids’ was studied and is described here
in detail. After its death, the Xerobdella individual was used for chemical extraction and molecular studies (deoxyribonucleic acid [DNA] barcoding, based on one gene,
the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I). In addition, novel DNA barcodes for a land leech from Madagascar and a recently discovered species from
Europe were obtained. Our phylogenetic tree shows that X. lecomtei is not a member of the tropical land leeches (family Haemadipsidae), as previously thought, but represents a separate line
of descent (family Xerobdellidae). The decline of the local leech population around Graz correlates with a rise in average
summer temperatures of +3°C between 1961 and 2004. This warming led to a drastic reduction in the moisture content of the
soil where X. lecomtei lives. We suggest that human-induced climate change without apparent habitat destruction can lead to the extinction of populations
of cold-adapted species that have a low colonization ability. 相似文献

Climate change is raising significant issues for European invasive species policy. As natural and anthropogenic systems experience changing climatic conditions, opportunities for the distribution and establishment of invasive exotic plant species are projected to increase. Such environmental changes will provide significant challenges for the strategic planning and management of natural, agricultural and urban spaces. In this study, the perceptions of the impacts of invasive exotic plant species are examined and compared to perceptions of other environmental issues on the islands of Mallorca, Sardinia and Crete. A survey of key stakeholders was undertaken on the Mediterranean islands with the use of questionnaires and in-depth interviews. While there is a widespread tolerance of environmental change associated with the establishment of invasive species on the islands, local stakeholders raise concerns about specific impacts and the policies in place to respond to future risk. To build resilience within natural and anthropogenic systems to the changing climatic circumstances, a need exists for integrative environmental policy that supports local capacity to manage invasive species within Mediterranean landscapes. 相似文献
