In this paper, an isolated ac module with pseudo dc-link and galvanic isolation is proposed for photovoltaic energy conversion. The studied grid-tie ac module can individually extract the maximum solar power from each photovoltaic panel and transfer to ac utility system. It consists of an interleaved active-clamping single-ended primary-inductive circuit (SEPIC) with a secondary voltage doubler, a full-bridge polarity selector operating under line frequency to achieve high efficiency. For the studied topology, key features such as reduced input current ripple, zero-voltage switching (ZVS) of primary switches, low reverse-recovery current of the output diodes, and lower switch voltage stress are obtained. Also, to reduce input current ripple, an interleaved control strategy is adopted. A simple control strategy is proposed to generate a rectified sinusoidal waveform voltage at the pseudo dc-link capacitors and achieve the high maximum power point tracking (MPPT) accuracy. The operation principles and design considerations of the studied ac module are analyzed and discussed. A prototype with 25–60 V dc input, 110 V/60 Hz ac output and 150 W power rating has been constructed for verifying the feasibility of the proposed ac module.  相似文献

This work proposes nonlinear estimators with nonlinear controllers, for variable speed wind turbine (VSWT) considering that either the wind speed measurement is not available or not accurate. The main objective of this work is to maximize the energy capture from the wind and minimizes the transient load on the drive train. Controllers are designed to adjust the generated torque for maximum power output. Estimation of effective wind speed is required to achieve the above objectives. In this work the estimation of effective wind speed is done by using the Modified Newton Rapshon (MNR), Neural Network (NN) trained by different training algorithms and nonlinear time series based estimation. Initially the control strategies applied was the classical ATF (Aerodynamic torque feed forward) and ISC (Indirect speed control), however due their weak performance and unmodeled WT disturbances, nonlinear static and dynamic feedback linearization techniques with the above wind speed estimators are proposed.  相似文献

A contactless transformer coupling (CTC) transmission system transmits electric energy via an alternating magnetic field through an air-gap. The transmitted power can be enhanced by the application of resonant effects. Transmitting and receiving coils are usually single layer solenoids with series capacitors, which, in combination, allow the receiving element to be tuned to the required transmitter frequency. An input DC source is used to obtain high-frequency AC signal through the standardized half-bridge DC/AC switching circuit. Further, the high-frequency signal passes through matching transformer and contactless coupling induction coil, which can be considered as an isolated input and output stage. Coupling must be tight to achieve high efficiency. This paper then applies the methods of Taguchi parameter design forthe contactless transformer coupling transmission system, which enhances the output voltage, loss factor, and output efficiency of the transmission system. The results of measurement verify the feasibility of this structure in the experiment.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The limitation of self-excited induction generator (SEIG) when used in the stand-alone wind energy system (WES) is poor voltage regulation at variable speed. The indirect vector control (IVC) technique is employed for both the generator-side converter (GSC) and load-side converter (LSC) to regulate the variation of SEIG speed, DC link voltage, and electromagnetic torque independently. Further performance of the proposed IVC technique has been analyzed independently with neural network controller (NNC) and fuzzy logic controller (FLC) as its components. The FLC is replaced by an NNC to improve the performance of the proposed system. IVC of SEIG-based WES has been simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK software, and the prototype model of the proposed WES is developed to experimentally validate the performance using dSPACE DS-1104 R&D controller board.  相似文献

In this study, a low-temperature gliding arc discharge system was used to investigate the effects of steam content and operational parameters, i.e. total feed flow rate, applied voltage, and input frequency, on the reforming performance of CO2-containing natural gas. The addition of steam less than 10% was found to enhance both selectivities for hydrogen and carbon monoxide with a significant reduction of power consumptions. The highest hydrogen selectivity and yield with the lowest power consumptions were achieved at a steam content of 10 mol%, a total feed flow rate of 100 cm3/min (corresponding to a very short residence time of 1.37 s), an applied voltage of 13.5 kV and an input frequency of 300 Hz. Under these optimum conditions, the oxidative dehydrogenation reactions to produce hydrogen were dominant with the minimum activities of all undesired reactions of cracking and coupling. Both of the short residence time (1.37 s) with a low bulk temperature (lower than 200°C) in the plasma zone under atmospheric pressure, indicate that the studied plasma reactor (gliding arc system) is superior to conventional catalytic reactors for reforming of natural gas.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The drive range of electric vehicle (EV) is one of the major limitations that impedes its universalism. A great deal of research has been devoted to drive range improvement of EV, an accurate and efficiency energy consumption estimation plays a crucial role in these researches. However, the majority of EV’s energy consumption estimation models are based on single motor EV, these models are not suitable for dual-motor EVs, which are composed of more complex transmission mechanisms and multiple operating modes. Thus, an energy consumption estimation model for dual-motor EV is proposed to estimate battery power. This article focuses on studying the operating modes and system efficiency in each operating mode. The limitation of working area of each mode ensures the vehicle dynamic performance, then PSO algorithm is adopted to optimize the torque (speed) distribution between two motors to improve the system efficiency in the coupled driving mode. Finally, the energy consumption estimation model is established by multiple linear regression (MLR). The result shows that the proposed model has a high precision in energy consumption estimation of dual-motor EV.  相似文献

This study developed an integrated (flow, voltage, and temperature) micro sensor using the micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) technology. It was inserted into the high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC) for local real-time measurement. The integrated micro sensor is made of 40 µm thick stainless steel base material, and its protective layer is formed by polyimide (PI) that has better temperature resistance. The integrated micro sensor has three functions, and is favorably characterized by small size, good acid resistance and temperature resistance, quick response, real-time measurement, and being able to be put in any place for measurement. After calibration, and its reliability confirmed, the integrated micro sensor is inserted into the HT-PEMFC for local microcosmic measurement.  相似文献

完成了依据有限元疲劳分析为基础的传感器寿命预测研究工作。阐述压力传感器工作原理,定义影响系统寿命的参数组,既包含力学环境参数,亦包括材料属性、几何形式等结构参数。针对不同参数属性,依据疲劳强度计算需求,构建有限元数值计算模型;根据影响传感器寿命的传感单元单晶硅S-N(应力-循环)分布,完成变载荷输入条件下模型疲劳分析,依据数值计算结果完成该压力传感器寿命预测工作。结果表明:压力传感器使用寿命在7.068E8次数以上。本课题研究提出的新方法,摆脱了传统依靠试验完成多种材料组成结构体的疲劳分析及寿命预测窘境,具有通用性。  相似文献

为了解决电力环境监测中的数据传输问题,提出了基于ZigBee技术的电力环境监测系统设计方案。该系统通过ZigBee节点采集各种电力环境数据,并将ZigBee网络和GPRS相结合实现远程监测。方案采用TI公司CC2430芯片设计传感器节点电路,在ZigBee协议栈的基础上设计了协调控制器节点,提高了系统的可扩展性,确保了数据传输的实时性和可靠性。  相似文献

In this article, the proposed maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method is designed by taking rotor speed as an optimization problem, which is solved by artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm to generate the maximum power output. The main advantage of this algorithm is that its optimal solution is independent of the initial positions and requirement of lesser number of control parameters, which leads to simple and robust MPPT algorithm than other algorithm. Furthermore, the hill climb search and particle swarm optimization-based MPPT algorithm are also discussed and the results obtained by these are compared to verify the effectiveness of proposed algorithm. Simulations for MPPT control along with doubly fed induction-generator-based wind energy conversion system is carried out in MATLAB/Simulink environment. Three statistical methods are used to evaluate the accuracy of each MPPT algorithm. All results are analyzed and compared under randomly selected wind as well as real wind speed configuration. Comparison of both numerical and simulation results under two different varying wind speed conditions strongly suggest that the proposed ABC-based MPPT algorithm is superior than other two MPPT algorithms.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel single-stage light-emitting diode (LED) driver with interleaved power-factor corrections (PFC) suitable for energy-saving streetlight applications. The presented circuit combines an interleaved boost PFC converter with a half-bridge-type series-resonant converter cascaded with a full-bridge rectifier into a single-stage power-conversion topology. Two inductors in the interleaved boost PFC converter sub-circuit are designed to operate in discontinuous-conduction mode (DCM) in order to achieve input-current shaping, and the half-bridge-type series-resonant converter cascaded with a full-bridge rectifier is designed to obtain zero-voltage switching (ZVS) on two power switches to reduce their switching losses. The proposed driver features high power factor, low total-harmonic distortion (THD) of input current, and high circuit efficiency, all of which results in energy savings. A prototype driver is developed and implemented to supply a 165W-rated LED streetlight module with utility-line input voltages ranging from 210 V to 230 V. In addition, satisfactory experimental results have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed LED driver.  相似文献

Rapid assessments of operating conditions and field preparation on dust discharge from nut harvesters are needed to guide improved equipment design and grower practices for dust reduction. An industrial opacity sensor, typically used for industrial stack monitoring, was adapted for use on a nut harvester to measure relative dust intensity during nut pick-up operations in almond orchards. Due to the high volume of discharge air and the presence of large debris such as leaves, additional components were coupled with the sensor to enable subsampling of the air. Pre-harvest windrow preparation conditions were evaluated. Results indicated that relative dust intensity decreased by 32% during harvest activities after windrow preparation with proper nut sweeper adjustment. Conventional harvesting results indicated that under typical operating conditions, reducing the separation fan speed could reduce relative dust intensity by 54%. Ground speed also had a strong effect; reducing speed from 4.8 to 2.4 km h(-1) reduced opacity of discharged air by 50%. The measurement system was also mounted on a separate vehicle and used as a tool for comparing modifications in harvest machine designs where direct measurement of discharge may not be feasible due to mechanical constraints. A comparison between a conventional harvester and one modification in the harvester design found that the machine modification decreased relative dust intensity by 73%. The measurement tools described in this work can be used to provide rapid feedback on harvester operating conditions, orchard cultural practices, and machine design modifications.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Carbon corrosion caused by H2/O2 interface during the shut-down process is one of the factors that exacerbate the overall degradation of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) in automotive applications. Numerous studies have shown that system strategies are beneficial for reducing the duration of H2/O2 interface and alleviating performance degradation. In this paper, three different shut-down strategies are investigated and compared based on the internal behaviors acquired by in-situ measurements. For the three shut-down strategies, reverse current and high potential are mainly observed in a lower constant current and constant power strategy. Comparatively speaking, the internal uniformity of the cell under constant current and power load is better than that with constant voltage strategy when the shut-down time is about the same. The results suggest that adopting a higher constant power load followed by a larger voltage load during the shut-down process can effectively shorten the shut-down time and relieve carbon corrosion. These results add significant new insights into the shut-down process and will be of practical importance in directing design of combined shut-down strategy that can withstand carbon corrosion.  相似文献
