生物膜工艺可以有效去除微污染饮用水源中痕量有机污染物,第二级利用是稳态生物膜降解痕量有机物的主要机理。自然有机物可以作为初级基质支持稳态生物膜的生长,而痕量的合成有机物能作为第二级基质被生物膜降解,缓慢衰减的非稳态生物膜在一段时期内仍能保持对痕量有机物的高效降解。  相似文献

在中温(35±1℃)条件下,以新型橡胶颗粒为载体的厌氧流化床(AFB)反应器处理模拟味精废水为研究体系,考察有机负荷(OLR)由2.08 kg/(m3.d)提高到19.20 kg/(m3.d)期间,污染物去除率、胞外聚合物(EPS)含量及其在生物膜和混合液中的分布、生物膜中MLVSS含量及脱氢酶活性等的变化情况。结果表明,随有机负荷增加,污染物去除稳定,COD去除率维持在80%左右;EPS在生物膜中的量大于在混合液中的量,并以蛋白质为主要成分,但其总量呈递减趋势;当有机负荷为19.20 kg/(m3.d)时,生物膜中MLVSS含量约为23.1 mg/g载体,脱氢酶活性则为22.6 mg/(L.h);载体生物膜的生物相以独缩虫属、聚缩虫属、累枝虫属和钟虫等为主。  相似文献

根据上海市水环境污染物排放的现状及有关统计数据,采用Sigmoid模型,对未来的变化趋势进行了预测。并通过上海市污水治理设施状况及其水环境质量状况的调查数据,研究了水环境质量与社会经济发展的关系,进一步分析了水环境质量对上海中长期发展的制约。在此基础上,对改善水环境质量以减少对未来发展的制约,提出了相应的对策与建议。  相似文献

将有效微生物菌剂(EM)接种于生物接触氧化反应器形成强化生物膜,并通过EM对废水中营养物的摄取情况分析EM的生长繁殖状况,分生物膜启动和运行2个阶段对EM生物膜的处理效果及运行机理进行了研究.结果表明,EM生物膜启动时间短,接种后第3天有淡黄色粘膜出现,反应进行至12 d填料上已经形成较为完善的生物膜;EM生物膜在启动阶段对渗滤液废水有较好的处理效果,废水的恶臭问题得到显著改善,色度也明显降低;启动阶段EM的培养特征与单种细菌的分批培养特征类似,依次出现缓速期、对数期和静止期;EM生物膜运行阶段状况稳定,至最佳水力停留时间48 h,典型污染物指标COD、NH3-N的去除率分别达到71.25%和86.16%,能有效地处理垃圾渗滤液.  相似文献

The effects of solution pH on adsorption of trace metals to different types of natural aquatic solid materials have been studied extensively, but few studies have been carried out to investigate the effect of pH at which the solid materials were formed on the adsorption. The purpose of present study is to examine this effect of culture pH on metal adsorption to natural freshwater biofilms. The adsorption of Pb and Cd to biofilms which were developed at different culture pH values (ranging from 6.5 to 9.0) was measured at the same adsorption pH value (6.5). The culture pH had considerable effects on both composition and metal adsorption ability of the biofilms. Higher culture pH usually promoted the accumulation of organic material and Fe oxides in the biofilms. The culture pH also affected the quantity and species of algae in the biofilms. The adsorption of Pb and Cd to the biofilms generally increased with the increase of culture pH. This increase was minor at lower pH range and significant at higher pH range and was more remarkable for Cd adsorption than for Pb adsorption. The notable contribution of organic material to the adsorption at higher culture pH values was also observed. The profound impacts of culture pH on adsorption behavior of biofilms mainly resulted from the variation of total contents of the biofilm components and were also affected by the alteration of composition and properties of the components.  相似文献

Both dissolved organic matters (DOM) and natural biofilms are important substances in controlling the behavior of trace metals in natural aquatic environments. In this study, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) was selected as a typical DOM to investigate the effect of DOM on the adsorption of trace metals to the biofilms in natural waters. The adsorption of Cd to biofilms, including adsorption isotherm at a fixed pH (pH?=?6.0) and pH-edge adsorption (pH ranging from 4.3 to 9.0) with different adsorption sequences, was determined without EDTA and in the presence of EDTA ([EDTA]?=?0.5 μmol/L for isotherms measurement and [EDTA]?=?0.5 and 2.0 μmol/L for pH-dependent adsorption). The presence of EDTA generally decreased the adsorption of Cd, and the effect was determined by solution pH, concentration of EDTA, and adsorption sequence. Higher concentration or higher pH usually resulted in a more significant decrease. The influence of adsorption sequence on the effect of EDTA was insignificant in lower pH range, while the adsorption usually decreased in the order of Cd only adsorption > Cd first adsorption > EDTA first adsorption ≈ simultaneous adsorption in higher pH range. The effect of EDTA could be attributed to the conversion of Cd speciation, the competition with the biofilms for Cd, and the dissolution of Mn oxides from the biofilms. EDTA affected the adsorption of Cd to natural biofilms, and the effect could be fairly significant. The role of Mn oxides in determining the behavior of trace metals might be underestimated.  相似文献

本文较为系统地评述了邻苯二甲酸酯的环境行为、生态效应、环境归趋、数学模型和处理技术。指出邻苯二甲酸酯是生产量大和应用面广的人工合成有机化学品,是目前世界上全球性的一类环境有机污染物。这类化合物的低水溶度和低挥发性导致了它们的高吸附亲和性,从而使得该类化合物在固体颗粒物表面的行为对于研究它们在环境中各种过程具有十分重要的作用。  相似文献

Knowledge of toxic chemical sorption by soil/sediment is critical for environmental risk assessment of toxic chemicals, especially for the multi-sorbate system in river ecosystem. Sorption characteristics of 2, 4-Dichlorophenol, 2, 4-Dinitrophenol and 2, 4-Dimethyphenol on sediment were investigated. Adsorption isotherms in single- and multi-sorbate systems fitted well the Freundlich model. The adsorption effects were different among three selected phenolic compounds in single- and multi-sorbate systems. The synergetic affect that 2, 4-Dinitrophenol and 2, 4-Dimethyphenol bring to 2, 4-Dichlorophenol can be explained by the compression of double electronic layer and the charge neutrality. Adsorption kinetic results showed that pseudo-second-order model can be used to describe the experimental data and the adsorption affinity of phenolic compounds influenced greatly by the adsorption velocity. The present study suggests that the fate and transport of emerging pollutants such as phenolic compounds could be affected in the presence of different hydrophobic pollutants in aquatic systems.  相似文献

The fate of hydrophobic organic pollutants in the aquatic environment is controlled by a variety of physical, chemical and biological processes. Some of the most important are physical transport, chemical and biological transformations, and distribution of these compounds between the various environmental compartments (atmosphere, water, sediments and biota). The major biogeochemical processes that control the fate of hydrophobic organic compounds in the aquatic environment are reviewed. These processes include evaporation, solubilization, interaction with dissolved organic matter, sediment-water partitioning, bioaccumulation and degradation. Physico-chemical parameters used to predict the aquatic fate of such compounds are also discussed.  相似文献

Little information is available about the toxicity of toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene acting on macrophytes, and their toxicity data are rarely used in regulation and criteria decisions. The results extended the knowledge on toxic effects of toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene on aquatic plants. The responses of Hydrilla verticillata to these pollutants were investigated. Chlorophyll levels, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase and guaiacol peroxidase) showed diverse responses at different concentrations of toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene. The linear regression analyses were performed respectively, suggesting the concentrations of toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene expected to protect aquatic macrophytes were 7.30 mg L−1, 1.15 mg L−1 and 2.36 mg L−1, respectively. This study emphasized that aquatic plants are also sensitive to organic pollutants as fishes and zooplanktons, indicating that macrophytes could be helpful in predicting the toxicity of these pollutants and should be considered in regulation and criteria decisions for aquatic environment protection.  相似文献

Biogenic Mn oxides exert important controls on trace metal cycling in aquatic and soil environments. A Mn-oxidizing bacterium Bacillus sp. WH4 was isolated from Fe–Mn nodules of an agrudalf in central China. The biogenic Mn oxides formed by mediation of this Mn oxidizing microorganism were identified as short-ranged and nano-sized Mn oxides. Cd adsorption isotherms, pH effect on adsorption and kinetics were investigated in comparison with an abiotic Mn oxide todorokite. Maximum adsorption of Cd to the biogenic Mn oxides and todorokite was 2.04 and 0.69 mmol g?1 sorbent, respectively. Thus, the biogenic Mn oxides were more effective Cd adsorbents than the abiotic Mn oxide in the aquatic environment. The findings could improve our knowledge of biogenic Mn oxides formation in the environment and their important roles in the biogeochemical cycles of heavy metals.  相似文献
