Chlorophenols, typically 4-chlorophenols are highly toxic and non-biodegradable organic contaminants which pose serious threat to the environment, particularly when released into aqueous medium. The removal of these pollutants by efficient method has received worldwide concern in recent past. A new Fe_3O_4–Cr_2O_3 magnetic nanocomposite was synthesized by wet chemical method under ultrasonic irradiation. Microstructure and morphology of the nanocomposite were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR), and a transmission electron microscope(TEM). Magnetic and optical properties were studied by a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) and an ultraviolet–visible(UV–Vis) spectrophotometer respectively. The magnetic nanocomposite(MNC) was used as photocatalyst for effective decomposition of 4-chlorophenol in water under ultraviolet(UV) irradiation.  相似文献

Compressed natural gas(CNG)is most appropriate an alternative of conventional fuel for automobiles.However,emissions of carbon-monoxide and methane from such vehicles adversely affect human health and environment.Consequently,to abate emissions from CNG vehicles,development of highly efficient and inexpensive catalysts is necessary.Thus,the present work attempts to scan the effects of precipitants(Na_2CO_3,KOH and urea)for nickel cobaltite(Ni Co_2O_4)catalysts prepared by co-precipitation from nitrate solutions and calcined in a lean CO-air mixture at 400°C.The catalysts were used for oxidation of a mixture of CO and CH_4(1:1).The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffractometer,Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface-area,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy;temperature programmedreductionandScanningelectronmicroscopycoupledwith Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy.The Na_2CO_3was adjudged as the best precipitant for production of catalyst,which completely oxidized CO-CH_4mixture at the lowest temperature(T_(100)=350°C).Whereas,for catalyst prepared using urea,T_(100)=362°C.On the other hand the conversion of CO-CH_4mixture over the catalyst synthesized by KOH limited to 97%even beyond 400°C.Further,the effect of higher calcination temperatures of 500 and600°C was examined for the best catalyst.The total oxidation of the mixture was attained at higher temperatures of 375 and 410°C over catalysts calcined at 500 and 600°C respectively.Thus,the best precipitant established was Na_2CO_3and the optimum calcination temperature of 400°C was found to synthesize the Ni Co_2O_4catalyst for the best performance in CO-CH_4oxidation.  相似文献

采用纳米Fe3O4降解溶液中的2,4-D,考察了2,4-D初始浓度、纳米Fe3O4的投加量、溶液pH对2,4-D降解效率的影响,并探讨了2,4-D的降解机理。实验结果表明,Fe3O4对2,4-D有明显的降解作用,纳米Fe3O4的降解效果优于微米级Fe3O4,降解过程中溶液中的氯离子浓度随着2,4-D的降解而升高,Fe3O4对2,4-D的降解机理是还原脱氯。当2,4-D初始浓度在0~10mg/L、纳米Fe3O4投加量0~300mg/L的范围内,2,4-D降解率随初始浓度和纳米Fe3O4投加量的增加而增大。在2,4-D初始浓度为10mg/L、pH3.0、纳米Fe3O4投加量300mg/L时降解效率最高,48h内2,4-D的降解率可达40%。  相似文献

The deposition of NH4HSO4 and the poisoning effect of SO2 on SCR catalyst are the main obstacles that restrict the industrial application of CeO2-doped SCR catalysts. In this work, deposited NH4HSO4 decomposition behavior and SO2 poisoning over V2O5–MoO3/TiO2 catalysts modified with CeO2 and SiO2 were investigated. By the means of characterization analysis, it was found that the addition of SiO2 into VMo/Ti–Ce had an impact on the interaction existed between catalyst surface atoms and NH4HSO4. Temperature-programmed methods and in situ diffused reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) experiments indicated that the doping of SiO2 promoted the decomposition of deposited NH4HSO4 on VMo/Ti–Ce catalyst surface by reducing the thermal stability of NH4HSO4 and enhancing the NH4HSO4 reactivity with NO in low temperature. And this improvement may be the reason for the better catalytic activity than VMo/Ti–Ce in the case of NH4HSO4 deposition. Accompanied with cerium sulfate species generated over catalyst surface, the conversion of SO2 to SO3 was inhibited in SiCe mixed catalyst. The addition of SiO2 could promote the decomposition of cerium sulfate, which may be a potential strategy to enhance the resistance of SO2 poisoning over CeO2-modifed catalysts.  相似文献

文章对4-氯酚在非均相零价铁/H2O2体系中的降解进行了实验研究。结果表明,4-氯酚能在低pH零价铁/H2O2体系中迅速降解。pH对降解具有重要影响,当pH大于5,4-CP降解效果<10%。同时在低pH(pH3)环境下考察了铁粉和H2O2投加量的影响,在最佳条件下对溶液中亚铁离子的形成和过氧化氢的分解进行了进一步的实验研究。最后在对中间产物分析的基础上提出了4-CP降解路径假设。  相似文献
