以模拟垃圾填埋柱和人工配制渗滤液,探讨了纳米银(AgNPs)和微塑料(MPs)在垃圾填埋场中的迁移行为.结果发现,无论是单体系还是二元体系,随着填埋时间增长,AgNPs和MPs颗粒在渗滤液中稳定性增强,在填埋场中迁移能力增大,可能导致填埋中晚期有更多的污染颗粒随渗滤液流出填埋场.当AgNPs和MPs共存时,相对于单体系促进了AgNPs的迁移而轻微地抑制了MPs的迁移.结合DLVO理论和胶体过滤理论分析,一方面是由于流动性更高的MPs可作为AgNPs的载体,同时与AgNPs竞争固相介质上的吸附位点,从而促进AgNPs的迁移.另一方面,共存的AgNPs降低了MPs颗粒的表面负电荷使其稳定性减弱,并通过预沉积在固相介质上提供额外的MPs沉积位点,从而抑制MPs的迁移.  相似文献

Abstract

The sites contaminated with recalcitrant organic compounds, such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) with multiple benzene rings, are colossal and ubiquitous environmental problems. They are relatively nonbiodegradable and mutagenic, and 16 of them are listed in the U.S. Environment Protection Agency priority pollutants. Thus, the efficient and emerging remediation technologies for removal of PAHs in contaminated sites have to be uncovered urgently. In this decade, the zero-valent iron (ZVI) particles have been used successfully in the laboratory, pilot, and field, such as degradation of chlorinated hydrocarbons and remediation of the other pollutants. Nevertheless, as far as we know, little research has investigated for soil remediation; this study used nanoscale ZVI particles to remove pyrene in the soil. The experimental variables were determined, including reaction time, iron particle size, and dosage. From the results, both the micro- and nanoscales of ZVI were capable of removing the target compound in soil, but the higher removal efficiencies were by nanoscale ZVI because of the massive specific surface area. The optimal operating conditions to attain the best removal efficiency of pyrene were obtained while adding nanoscale ZVI 0.1 g/g soil within 60 min and 150 rpm of mixing. Thus, nanoscale ZVI has proved to be a promising remedy for PAH-contaminated soil in this study, as well as an optimistically predictable application for additional pilot and field studies.  相似文献

以花生壳为原料,于300~700℃下热解制备生物炭以作为生物膜载体,对其进行了理化性质表征和挂膜试验.结果表明:较高的热解温度(700℃)能促进生物炭载体孔隙结构发展,生物炭表面ζ电位上升,亲水性增加,从而有利于污水微生物的附着和生长. 挂膜期间,生物炭载体单位挂膜量分别高出陶粒44%~84%,高温(700℃)生物炭载体生物膜对NH4+-N的去除率高出陶粒1%~3%,而中低温(300、500℃)生物炭载体生物膜对NH4+-N的去除率较陶粒低5%~10%,显示生物炭表面理化性质可能对附着的生物膜微生物种类和活性产生影响.  相似文献

This study explores the effects of communication medium, flight phase, and the role in the cockpit on pilots’ workload and situation awareness. Eight pilots with the experience of Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLCs) participated in this simulated experiment. Two types of communication medium (voice and datalink), three types of flight phase (departure, cruise, and arrival), and two types of role (pilot flying and pilot non-flying) were investigated in the experiment. The results indicated that flight phase is a significant factor and cruise is the most suitable phase for datalink use on pilots’ acceptance, workload, and situation awareness performance. Both medium and role were not the significant factors. Since there is no significant difference on medium when no extra tasks and interferences involved in a normal flight, that the use of CPDLC can be justified during all phases of a no-event flight. In addition, the results of usability indicated that the simulated CPDLC with command selection functions proposed in this study provides good utility for the participants. In order to use the CPDLC for all phases of flight in the future, adding more command selection functions in place of typing messages by pilots and accommodating appropriate interfaces for different phases are recommended to enhance the usability of the CPDLC unit.  相似文献

This study uses scanning ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometer to monitor natural organic matter (NOM) in water. The results showed that the area under the UV-Vis spectra is a good surrogate to monitor the concentration of the aqueous NOM. No apparent difference was found between the spectra of the three commercially available humic acids used in this study. The use of the scanning spectra compensates the potential random error in the absorbance determined at single wavelength due to the heterogeneous NOM compositions. The major interference of the proposed method comes from the formazine turbidity and nitrate nitrogen (NO3- -N). Although filtration with a 0.45-microm filter can remove most of the interference from formazine, some interference is still present at a wavelength less than 250 nm. Also it is found that the presence of the NO3- -N greatly affect the spectra of the NOM. In order to monitor the NOM in water with minimized interference, it is recommended that the area under the spectra between 250 and 350 nm should be used as a surrogate for concentration of NOM in water.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: This study was conducted in the Klamath Basin of southwestern Oregon to evaluate the dependency of riparian plant communities upon infrequent flooding. Plant communities were sampled with 1 m2 quadrats along established cross‐sections. Data collected for purposes of hydraulic modeling included channel and floodplain elevations (i.e., cross‐sectional profiles) and water surface elevations associated with specific discharges. The elevational distribution of hydrophytic plant communities relative to modeled return periods provided the basis for establishing relationships between these variables for nine sites. Results indicate that, on average, a peak flow frequency of 4.6 years (range of 3.1 to 7.6 years) was needed to sustain riparian plant communities at seven of nine sites. At two sites, results indicated return periods of more than 25 years were needed; these results possibly were influenced by local geomorphic conditions (a narrow steep channel in one case and an incised channel in the other). Overall, these results tend to confirm a strong dependency of riparian plant communities on overbank flows.  相似文献

Under laboratory conditions, the scallop Chlamys nobilis and the mussel Perna viridis were exposed to N-sulfocarbamoyl toxins (C2 toxin), a paralytic shellfish toxin (PST), by feeding a local toxic strain of the dinoflagellate Alexandrium tamarense (ATDP) that produced C2 toxin exclusively. The bivalves were subsequently depurated in the field, and their depuration kinetics, biotransformation and toxin distribution were quantified. Depuration was characterized by a rapid loss within the first day, followed by a secondary slower loss of toxins. In the fast depuration phase, scallops detoxified PSTs more quickly than the mussels (depuration rate constants for scallops and mussels were 1.16 day–1 and 0.87 day–1, respectively). In contrast, the mussels detoxified PSTs more quickly than the scallops in the slow depuration phase, and the calculated depuration rate constants (mean+SE) from day 2 to day 13 were 0.063+0.009 day–1 and 0.040+0.019 day–1 for mussels and scallops, respectively. The differences in the appearances of gonyautoxins, GTX2 and GTX3, and their decarbamoyl derivatives, dcGTX2, dcGTX3 and GTX5, which are all derivatives of C2 toxin, indicated active and species-specific biotransformation of the algal toxins in the two bivalves. In both species of bivalves, the non-viscera tissue contained fewer toxins and lower concentrations than the viscera-containing tissue compartment. In scallops, very little toxin was distributed in the adductor muscle. In mussels, most of the PSTs were found in the digestive gland with significant transport of toxins into the digestive gland from other tissues during the course of depuration. The toxin profiles of scallops and mussels differed from each other and from that of the toxic algae fed. A significant fraction of GTX5 was detected in the mussels but not in the scallops. Our study demonstrates a species specificity in the depuration kinetics, biotransformation and tissue distribution of PSTs among different bivalves.Communicated by T. Ikeda, Hakodate  相似文献
