Pyrolysis is an alternative technology for oil sludge treatment. Thermogravimetric Analysis-Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy
and Pyrolysis-Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry were employed to investigate the pyrolysis process and products of oil
sludge. The pyrolysis process was divided into five stages: drying and gas desorption, oil volatilization, main pyrolysis,
semi-coke charring, and mineral decomposition. The main reaction temperatures ranged from 497.6 K to 753.2 K. The products
were mainly composed of pairs of alkane and alkene (carbon number ranges from 1 to 27). The mechanisms consisted of random
chain scission followed by end chain scission at high temperatures with volatilization occurring during the whole process.
This study is useful not only for the proper design of a pyrolysis system, but also for improving the utilization of liquid

The test was designed to assess the toxicity of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) to Chlorella ellipsoidea and Aphanizomenon flos-aquae during 15 d with concentrations of MTBE from high (2.00×104 mg/L) to low (2 mg/L). The results showed that the toxicity was low when the concentration of MTBE was 1.00×104-2.00×104 mg/L (the greatest inhibition of growth-rate was 70%-71%, occurring on day 1-5). Low concentrations (2-500 mg/L) stimulated algal growth up to the greatest effect of 85%-200% when the concentration of MTBE was 50-100 mg/L on day 3-5. The low concentrations may lead to an algal bloom owing to overabundance, which represents an aquatic ecological risk. However, the stimulatory effect occurred only during the day 1-5 and disappeared gradually during the day 13-15. The toxicity of MTBE (72-120 h EC50) is 6.65×103-9.58×103 mg/L for C. ellipsoidea and that is 1.14×104-2.00×104 mg/L for A. spiroides. We found that the toxicity and ecological risk of MTBE for the algal community structure were low. The toxicity was influenced by the duration of the test. We suggest that the duration of the test should not be shorter than half a life-cycle. 相似文献

Integrated assessment of river health based on water quality, aquatic life

The health conditions of Liao River were assessed using 25 sampling sites in April 2005, with water quality index, biotic index
and physical habitat quality index. Based on the method of cluster analysis (CA) for water quality indices, it revealed that heavily
polluted sites of Liao River are located at estuary and mainstream. The aquatic species surveyed were attached algae and benthic
invertebrates. The result showed that the diversity and biomass of attached algae and benthic index of biotic integrity (B-IBI) were
degrading as the chemical and physical quality of water bodies deteriorating. Physiochemical parameters, BOD5, CODCr, TN, TP,
NH3-N, DO, petroleum hydrocarbon and conductivity, were statistically analyzed with principal component analysis and correlation
analysis. The statistical results were incorporated into the integrated assessing water quality index, combining fecal coliform count,
attached algae diversity, B-IBI and physical habitat quality score. A comprehensive integrated assessing system of river ecological
health was established. Based on the systimetic assesment, the assessed sites are categorized into 9 “healthy” and “sub-healthy” sites

辽东湾北部海域大型底栖动物研究:Ⅱ.生物多样性与群落结构 总被引:4,自引:2,他引:2
为深入了解辽东湾北部海域大型底栖动物的生态学特征及其与环境因子的相互作用,依据2007年7月下旬在辽东湾进行的大型底栖动物生态调查数据,论述了大型底栖动物的生物多样性与群落结构特点.调查区内大型底栖动物的Shannon-Wiener多样性指数为0~3.40,平均值为2.41;Margalef物种丰富度指数为0~2.40,平均值为1.58.两指数的空间分布趋势较为一致,低值区主要位于调查区北部的沿岸浅水区,其他海域的生物多样性指数较高且无显著的空间差异.以20%的相似性程度划分,取样站可被划为7个大型底栖动物站组,各站组在调查区内呈斑块状分布.其中,有4个站组(站组Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅴ和Ⅵ)的生物量曲线始终在丰度曲线之上,且优势度明显,表明大型底栖动物群落尚未受到显著干扰;其他站组的生物量曲线与丰度曲线相互交叉或非常接近,显示大型底栖动物群落已受到中等程度干扰.统计分析表明,水深,底层水中的ρ(DO),ρ(总磷)共同构成了解释调查区内大型底栖动物群落结构的最佳环境因子组合,它们与栖息密度(R=0.484)和生物量(R=0.489)的相关关系均达到显著水平(P<0.01). 相似文献

生态系统以其复杂性、需长期监测的特点成为环境影响评价中的难点。文章采用了类比法,以圆明园防渗铺膜工程的生态影响评价为例,选取了铺膜1年的圆明园26#湖,铺膜3年的北京植物园湖,铺膜10年的中央党校湖,清淤未铺膜的颐和园昆明湖和未清淤未铺膜的密云水库作为类比对象,对水生生态系统中的底栖动物、浮游藻类、浮游动物和水生维管植物进行了类比,为圆明园防渗工程的生态影响评价和预测提供了有力的依据。实践证明,合理的类比法应用可以快速有效地对工程项目的生态影响进行评价。 相似文献

水环境中锶的含量及其变化、地理分布及其控制因素等特征的研究有助于认识区域水文地球化学特征及流域盆地岩石风化速率等地球化学行为,因此河流环境中锶的地球化学行为是地球化学研究的重要课题之一。对我国中东部地区部分河流水体中溶解态锶含量进行了分析研究发现,与世界上主要河流溶解态锶含量平均值0.078 mg/L相比,中国中东部地区河水中的锶含量(0.139 mg/L)明显偏高。分析研究表明,中国中东部地区河水中的锶主要源于蒸发盐岩和碳酸盐岩的风化作用,流域锶含量从南向北逐渐增加的现象主要受流域岩石或沉积物类型的控制,化学风化作用越强烈,河流锶含量越高。除了受区域岩性的影响外,气候条件对流域河水中的锶含量水平及地理分布起到一定的控制作用。 相似文献

在土壤元素异常下限值的确定对环境地球化学评价具有重要意义,传统异常下限值计算方法仅适用于元素含量数据呈正态分布的情况,而事实上土壤元素含量的空间分布极其复杂,很可能具有多重分形分布特征,元素背景和异常有各自独立的幂指数关系。本文探讨利用分形方法确定典型工业区土壤中Cd元素的异常下限值。基于分形的含量一面积方法确定了合肥大兴地区(典型工业区)土壤中污染元素Cd的异常下限值为0.445mg/kg,并根据该异常下限值圈定了异常范围。同时与传统方法(平均值加两倍标准离差)确定的土壤中Cd元素异常下限值及异常范围进行了对比分析,结果显示,分形方法圈定的异常区域是有效的、合理的,控制了区内主要的导致土壤Cd元素污染的企业。 相似文献

指标权重值的确定是多指标水质评价法实际应用中的关键问题。针对模糊评价等方法中权重值确定所具有的主观性,提出了基于因子分析定权的水质综合评价法及富营养化指数的概念,并将其应用于南水北调中线工程水源地-丹江口水库水体营养度的综合评价。结果表明,丹江口库区的污染物类型可以分为两类;丹江口库区水体营养度全年时段内均处于中营养化水平,但是,不同采样点、不同季节时的水体富营养化指数的差异还是较大的。总体来看,丹江口库区中,小太平洋水质最好,陶岔水质次之,大石桥水质最差。 相似文献

In order to investigate the correlation between the prevalence of Kashin-Back disease (KBD) and Se concentrations, natural
soil samples and cultivated soil samples were collected from southeastern Tibet, China; and the soil Se concentrations were
measured by atomic fluorescent spectrophotometer. It was found that the mean Se concentrations of natural soil samples in
KBD areas, from the first layer to the third layer, were 0.17 mg/kg, 0.11 mg/kg, and 0.10 mg/kg, respectively, and in nondisease
areas were 0.21 mg/kg, 0.24 mg/kg, and 0.13mg/kg, respectively. The mean Se concentrations of cultivated soil samples were
0.10 mg/kg in KBD areas and 0.23 mg/kg in non-disease areas, respectively. Soil Se concentrations in KBD areas were lower
than that in non-disease areas, and the mean concentrations of soil Se in Tibet were lower than the average of China (0.29
mg/kg). Therefore, there is a close relationship between soil Se concentrations and KBD in Tibet. More studies should be concentrated
on the impacts of Se deficiency in soils and its relationship with Se concentrations in food-grain and the human body in Tibet
