There has been considerable interest in the use of the biodegradable polymer poly(lactic acid) (PLA) as a replacement for
petroleum derived polymers due to ease of processability and its high mechanical strength. Other material properties have
however limited its wider application. These include its brittle properties, low impact strength and yellow tint. In an attempt
to overcome these drawbacks, PLA was blended with four commercially available additives, commonly known as masterbatches.
The effect of the addition of 1.5 wt% of the four masterbatches on the mechanical, thermal, optical and surface properties
of the polymer was evaluated. All four masterbatches had a slight negative effect on the tensile strength of PLA (3–5% reduction).
There was a four fold increase in impact resistance however with the addition of one of the masterbatches. Differential scanning
calorimetry demonstrated that this increase corresponded to a decrease in the polymer crystallinity. However there was an
associated increase in polymer haze with the addition of this masterbatch. The clarity of PLA was improved through the addition
of an optical brightener masterbatch, but the impact resistance remained low. The glass transition and melting temperatures
of PLA were not affected by the addition of the masterbatches, and no change was observed in surface energy. Some delay in
PLA degradation, in a PBS degradation medium at 50 °C, was observed due to blending with these masterbatches. 相似文献

该文在明晰中国能源可持续发展内涵的基础上,从能源足量、可持续、合理供给;能源与水、土地、森林等资源配套能力;国家可持续能源政策与地区规划的融合,减缓环境资源的损耗;环境可持续性四个目标出发,构建了区域能源可持续发展指标体系。从定量的角度刻画中国能源可持续发展的区域差异,解析影响中国能源可持续发展的主要因素。研究结果表明,可持续能源政策与环境的可持续性是制约能源可持续发展的关键环节;能源与森林、土地资源的配套能力是重要基础;能源供应能力是核心所在;从中国东、中、西部来看,西部地区是中国能源可持续性最强的地区,中部次之,东部能源可持续性最弱;从中国八大区域来看,能源可持续性沿海地区最弱,东北和长江中游地区次之,大西北、西南和黄河中游地区最强。本文作者最后认为多元化发展,提升能源供应能力;建立健全环境税收制度,增强环境可持续性;因地制宜,是促进中国区域能源可持续发展的必然选择。 相似文献

东北地区城市大气颗粒物中多环芳烃的污染特征 总被引:10,自引:5,他引:5
2008年4月至2009年1月期间,在东北三省(辽宁、吉林、黑龙江)设立30个观测点位,研究了东北城市大气颗粒物中PAHs的浓度水平、分布及来源.结果表明,不同季节14种PAHs总浓度的变化范围是16.3 ~712.1 ng/m3,呈冬季高、夏季低的季节变化特征;PAHs组成以4~5环化合物为主,3~4环化合物受温度的影响较大,表现出较强的季节波动;8个城市中抚顺和吉林PAHs污染最重,城市不同功能区中以工业区污染较重;燃煤和机动车尾气是区域PAHs的主要来源. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the concentration of organochlorine pesticides [HCH and isomers (α, β, γ), aldrin, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor and heptachlor epoxide and DDT and its metabolites (op’-DDD, pp’-DDD, op’-DDT, pp’-DDE, pp’-DDT] in smoked fish. Analysis was made of 12 typical smoked fish products that are the most popular among customers from the city of Szczecin, Poland. Pesticide residues were found in all samples of smoked fish. The smoked sprat and cold-smoked Baltic salmon were the most contaminated smoked fish products in terms of chlorine pesticides. The sum of DDT metabolites ranged from 1.48 (smoked mackerel) to 35.53 ng/g wet weight (smoked sprat), with the lowest concentrations found for op’-DDT and the highest for pp’-DDE. The level of heptachlor epoxide isomer B was low and ranged from 0.06 ± 0.01 (smoked eel) to 0.27 ± 0.07 ng/g w.w. (smoked sprat). The content of heptachlor was 0.48–1.99 ng/g w.w. Concentration of endrin was higher compared to other pesticides, ranged from 1.50 (cold-smoked salmon fillet) to 16.84 ng/g w.w (hot-smoked warehou). The contamination of smoked products was significantly low and poses no risk to the health of consumers provided that they eat a diverse diet. The potential adverse effects on human health of hazardous waste incinerators (HWIs) are a subject of concern. The construction of the first and till now only HWI in Spain finished in 1999. In 2007, after approximately 9 years of regular operations in the facility, the concentrations of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/F) were determined by HRGC/HRMS in samples of adipose tissue of 15 autopsied subjects living in the area under potential impact of the HWI (Constantí, Tarragona County, Catalonia). These data were compared with the levels found in two previous surveys performed in 1998 (baseline) and 2002. The current mean PCDD/F concentration in adipose tissue was 14.6 pg WHO-TEQ/g of fat (range: 3.3–55.4 pg WHO-TEQ/g of fat). It means significant changes (a reduction of 64% and an increase of 47%) in the mean PCDD/F levels in comparison to those found in 1998 and 2002: 40.1 and 9.9 pg WHO-TEQ/g of fat, respectively. Women showed higher levels of PCDD/F than men (23.8 vs 11.2 pg WHO-TEQ/g of fat). The increase in the last 5 years would not be directly attributable to exposure to PCDD/F emitted by the HWI, as other biological monitors such as human plasma and milk decreased during the same period. 相似文献

以模拟的厌氧消化液为处理对象,通过小试实验,考察不同初始磷浓度CP、Ca/P物质的量比、pH和温度下,碳酸根(CO32-)对磷酸钙沉淀反应回收磷的影响;利用扫描电镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)和傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)对沉淀产物进行表征。结果表明,高浓度的CO32-对以磷酸钙沉淀反应去除和回收磷的效率影响较大;CP相同时,CO32-浓度(CCO32-)越大,P的去除率越低,低CP(20 mg/L)时尤为显著;当CCO32-相同时,随着CP的增大,反应速率加快,P的去除率逐渐升高,但升高幅度越来越小;增大Ca/P比和pH能提高P的去除率,降低CO32-对磷酸钙沉淀反应的抑制作用,综合考虑实际效果,应选择Ca/P比为3.33,pH为9.0作为适宜的反应条件;升高温度对降低CO32-对磷酸钙沉淀反应的抑制作用贡献不大。在CP为60 mg/L,Ca/P比为1.67,pH为9.0,温度为20℃的条件下,当C CO32-为0时,得到的沉淀产物主要为羟基磷灰石HAP;当C CO32-为30 mmol/L时,得到的沉淀产物为磷酸钙和碳酸合磷灰石的混合物。 相似文献
