Material flow analysis (MFA) and value flow analysis (VFA) were applied to the sanitation system in an urban slum in Indonesia. Based on the results of the MFA and VFA, garbage and excreta disposal costs were evaluated to be 0.7% and 1.1%, respectively, of per capita income. Such value flows seem reasonable in light of the recognized affordability to pay (ATP) standard. However, current excreta disposal methods create negative impacts on downstream populations. Because such disadvantages do not go back to disposers, but passed to downstream, the current value flow structure does not motivate individual toilet users to install treatment facility. Based on current material and value flow structures, a resource recycling sanitation system scenario was examined. Based on VFA, an affordable initial cost for such a system was calculated; this was found to be comparable in price to a cheaper composting toilet that is currently available in the market.  相似文献

Global solar radiation is recorded by fading of the colored film into which azo-dye is impregnated with use of organic solvent. Oil Red O, Sudan I, Sudan IV and Pyridylazonaphthol are used as the azo dye. These films can be applied to measure the solar radiation in many kinds of environmental or ecological conditions. The merits of the film compared with usual measurements are to be: unnecessary of any electric sources; cheap and mass-productive easily; suitable to integrate solar radiation for long time; easy dealing in out-door or underwater conditions; possible to use on leaves of any plants because of light weight; possible to use in a lot of points at the same time.  相似文献

水温是湖泊环境研究中的重要物理参数之一。湖泊中水温的状况及其分层现象将直接或间接的影响到湖库水环境中的各种物理、化学和生物过程。深水型湖泊的温度成层现象为众多学者所公认,也是研究热点之一,而浅水型湖泊的温度成层温差小、持续时间短,因此鲜有此方面的研究。本文以典型浅水湖泊--太湖为研究对象,根据现场近3个月的监测资料,分析了太湖的水温结构,证明了太湖水温日成层现象的存在,并对太湖日成层现象发生规律及其影响因素做了初步的探讨。  相似文献

感潮河段水体的物质输运规律及其时空分布不仅受径流、潮汐动力的双重影响,还受水闸调度等人类活动的影响.针对水闸调度影响下感潮河段复杂的水动力学及其伴随的物质输运过程,提出一种新的算盘式网格结构,建立了水动力学和物质输送的三维数学模型,考察了在径流、潮汐及水闸调度综合作用下,感潮河段水流密度分层的特点,并对水体中溶解氧和盐度的时空分布规律及其影响因素进行研究.结果发现,数值模拟计算结果与观测值吻合良好,表明所建立的三维数值模型可以很好地预测感潮河段的水流运动和物质输运规律.研究表明,感潮河段的缺氧水体首先出现在盐水楔的前端,在盐-淡水分层强度、盐水停留时间及水闸调度的综合作用下,出现溶解氧浓度持续降低的趋势,并导致缺氧水体范围从河口上游向下游扩展,随水闸的放流缺氧水体被冲刷的现象.  相似文献

Enzymes fixed on the electrode of biosensor are gradually inactivated and the electrode is discarded after using several times. In order to prepare the stable biosensor, we try to use a stable enzyme from extreme thermophilic bacteria, Thermus thermophilus HB8. It is very important that a stable enzyme from T. thermophilus HB8 is overproduced in Escherichia coli, for the purpose of enough supply of enzyme. Thereby, we determined the important sequence for overexpression of NADH oxidase (nox) gene from T. thermophilus HB8 in E. coli. As a result, it is revealed that ten nucleotides sequence, GAAATTAACT, in the upstream of start codon of nox gene was important for its overexpression in E. coli.  相似文献
