This article contains the results of research into the impact of implementation of the requirements mentioned in Standard No. OHSAS 18001:2007 to reduce the number of injuries at work and the financial costs incurred in this way. The study was conducted on a determined sample by a written questionnaire survey method in the Republic of Croatia. The objective of the empirical research is to determine the impact of implementation of the requirements of Standard No. OHSAS 18001:2007 to reduce the number of injuries at work and financial costs in Croatia in business organizations that implement these requirements. To provide a broader picture, the research included the collection and analysis of data on the impact of the Standard No. OHSAS 18001:2007 on accidents and fatalities at work. Research findings are based on the analysis of performed statistical data where correlation and regression analysis has been applied. 相似文献

This study aims to develop an integrated model - NFPA-68-BRANN model, which can be used to calculate the vent areas of cubic enclosures with obstacles. Seven experiments regarding vented explosion inside the obstructed enclosure are reviewed and applied to check the accuracy of two existing standards, i.e. the NFPA-68 2018 and the BS EN 14994:2007. Accordingly, the parameters to describe the flame development in the NFPA-68 2018 are amended by adopting the Bauwens model. Bayesian Regularization Artificial Neuron Network (BRANN) model presenting the non-linear relationship between the turbulent flame enhancement factor X and its affecting factors is subsequently developed. Eventually, the NFPA-68-BRANN model is generated by incorporating the BRANN model into the modified NFAP-68 2018. The accuracy of the NFPA-68-BRANN model is validated by using a series of the New Baker Test data. 相似文献

One of the most frequent manual occupational tasks involves the pushing and pulling of a cart. Although several studies have associated health risks with pushing and pulling, the effects are not clear since occupational tasks have social, cognitive and physical components. The present work investigates a real case of a pushing and pulling occupational task from a manufacturing company. The study initially characterizes the case in accordance with Standard No. ISO 11228-2:2007 as low risk. An experiment with 14 individuals during three modalities of pushing and pulling was performed in order to further investigate the task with the application of electrophysiology. At the end, a simple questionnaire was given. The results show electrophysiological differences among the three modalities of pushing and pulling, with a major difference between action with no load and fully loaded with a full range of motions on the cart to handle. 相似文献
