| Abstract: | Based on monitoring data for atmosphere during the period of "8th 5-year plan" and "9th 5-year plan", this article makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of air quality and pollution trend in urban area of Wenshan. The analysis result shows that major pollutants, dustfall, TSP, SO2 keep falling stably during 1996 to 2000, and air quality during "9th 5-year plan" period is much better than during "8th 5-year plan" period. Furthermore, it is necessary to enhance the implementation of various measures for pollution prevention and treatment. |
