Mixed oxide catalysts for pollution control

Abstract:	The following mixed oxide catalysts have been investigated for auto exhaust control: LaRhO₃, SrRuO₃, SrY_0.5Ru_0.5O_2.75, LaNi_0.5Ru_0.5O₃ and NiOCr₂O₃ spinel. For auto exhausts, LaRhO₃ had equivalent oxidation activity as platinum; SrRuO₃ and SrY_0.5Ru_0.5O_2.75 were superior for NO reduction and low NH₃ formation.
