| Abstract: | A large amount of phosphogypsum residue is to be discharged during wet phosphoric acid production,which not only occupies a lot of land for piling up but also pollutes the environment.The author describes the production of ammonium potassium sulfate from phosphogypsum residue in a pilot plant of 3 000 t/a,including the double decomposition reaction of phosphogypsum with ammonium carbonate to give ammonium sulfate and that of ammonium sulfate with KCl to produce ammonium potassium sulfate. |
