| Abstract: | With the rapid economic development and population expansion, environmental pollution and ecological degradation are becoming more and more serious in China. Environmental technology should be applied to control environmental pollution and improve environmental quality. For many years, Chinese scientists and technologists have achieved great progress in the research and development of environmental technology. However, the commercialization rate is still low. How to promote the commercialization of environmental technology in China is an imperative question to be answered. In this paper, the status of commercialization of environmental technology is reviewed, and the existing problems and causes are analyzed based on the analysis of the general characteristics of environmental technology and its commercialization in China. Developmental strategies are then presented for the promotion of environmental technology and its commercialization in China. |
