Environmental Impact Assessment of Oil Field Development Engineering in Tarim Desert

Tarim is an inland closed basin，the world's second largest travelling desert．having abundant oil and gas resources being actively in exploitation at present．While oil-gas field being tapped，the environmental impact assessment must be done．This paper gives an account of desert environment and ecological situation，and in desert area evaluation of water domain and ecological environmental impact must be taken as the key point．According to the evaluation results there have been raised a series of prevention and control measures and strategy about sand fixation,sand control and natural ecosystem protection
