| Abstract: | Based on the complex and open properties of natural water environment, laboratory simulation becomes an important, widely used approach in the investigation of biodegradation processes of organic pollutants. Due to the difference of study aims and limit of equipment, currently reported experimental methods are different greatly. In the paper, the principle, method and classification for estabishing simulation experiment were introduced in detail. As a practical example, the experimental processes of biodegradation with dimethyl phthalate (DMP) and diethyl phthalate (DEP) were discussed. |
