| Abstract: | The earthquake situation of the Southeastern Coastal Seismic Belt in the near future is analysed on the basis of an investigation on the seismic activity of the belt As a result, it is predicted that the border area between the Fujian and Guangdong Provinces along with their coastal area is a key risk area in this belt where an earthquake with magnitude of 5～6 or about 6 is likely to occur within future 1-3 years |
