| Abstract: | Guangzhou is in the face of serious hydropenic threaten as a result of the rapid need to drink water and the decline of riverhead quality.Among the current waterheads,eastern and southern Pearl River have been polluted by organic matters,while Liuxihe Basin and Dongjiang Basin have less potential of increasing water supply even though their water quality is good.During a long time the riverheads in north-west of Guangzhou are the main drink-water supplies,so a series of measures such as cutting down the pollutants,building sewage disposal factories and enhancing the runoff in dry time should to be assumed to protect its water quality.Apart from increasing supply with limits,Guangzhou should expolit new riverheads in southern area and resort territorial measures with other adjoin cities. |
