| 摘 要： | 安徽省长江沿江地带,近500年来地震活动比较频繁,尤以16世纪初-17世纪末以及本世纪以来为明显的地震活动活跃期。地震活动多发生在不同方向断裂的交切部位及第四纪构造沉降地段的边缘。根据本地带地质构造与新构造运动的特点和历史地震活动周期的分析,估计今后百多年内本地带还将发生多起中强地震。

ON NEOTECTONIC MOVEMENT AND EARTHQUAKES ALONG THE YANGTZE RIVER REGION IN ANHUI PROVINCE |

| Abstract: | About 29 moderate earthquakes occurred in the last 500 years along the Yangtze riv-
er region of Anhui province,the majority of which took place on the intersecting locations
of the faults tranding in different directions or occurred at the one side of the Quaternary
depression area.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of structural geology and
neotectonism and the periodicities of the history earthquake activities,the possible loca-
tions where the moderate strong earthquakes would occur in the future were predicted. |
