HUMAN ERROR AND THE APPLICATION OF HUMANFACTOR ENGINEERING ON SAFETY OF NPP |

| Abstract: | This paper in detail described the relationship between human error and safety of Nuclear Power Plant (NPP)from the viewpoint of human factor engineering. Some ergonomicproblems in design and operation of NPP, and effects on safety have been given. The paperalso introduces the relationship between the types,modes and causes about human errors andaccidents in NPP. Finally, some pricinples on human factor engineering for design, operation and management of NPP have been discussed. It will be useful for increasing the safetylevel of NPP. |
