| Abstract: | Urban planning theories are becoming more and more comprehensive nowadays. Besides traditional theories such as urban design theories, morphology, etc., environmental psychology is taken as a very important element, which is to enrich the available theories system and to meet the variable needs of the society. The paper takes a step in analysis of a small district of Shanghai city to be prepared for future, as a try of combination of urban design and environmental psychology. |
