| Abstract: | Quantitative determination of phenol with a new chromogenic reagent\|ferric chloride has been explored.In this paper the absorbance was mersured at the ware\|length of 580nm.The linear range was 10-310-2mol/L and relative error was less than 10%.The analytical result were in conformity to the results obtainedby ultraviolet absorption method. |
