| Abstract: | This paper describes how organic compounds and nitrogen compounds induce the formation of hydrogen cyanide during the distillation process. Hydrogen cyanide formation was confirmed by X‐ray diffraction. The formation scheme for hydrogen cyanide from organic compounds is proposed. |
