AN EXAMPLE OF TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY ON LANDFILL LEACHATE

Treatment of landfill leachate by the combined system of UASB(upflow anaerobic sludge blanket),MBR(membrane bioreactor) and NF(nanofiltration) was tested.The design and operation parameters and economic-technical indexes were investigated by an engineering example with the sewage treating capacity of 100 m3 /d.During the experiment,the effluent concentration of COD and BOD5 could attain 60 mg /L and 20 mg /L,the removal rates of COD,BOD5 achieved 99.4% and 99.6% respectively when the influent concentration of COD,BOD5 were 10 000 mg /L and 5 000 mg /L.Results showed that the treatment technology ensured ideal effluent effect,and the effluent quality reached secondary discharge standard specified by"Water Pollutants Discharge Standard in Beijing"(DB11 / 307-2005).
