| 摘 要： | 论述了西部环境的状况和西部公路的现状与发展，提出西部大开发要坚持基础建设与环境保护相结合，对公路建设特别是西部公路建设中产生的环境问题进行了分析，提出了西部公路建设中环境保护的一些措施和建议。

| Abstract: | The status in quo of the western highway and the environment of China are described first,then the environmental problems that will be caused by highway construction are analyzed and finally,some measures to control the environmental problems are proposed. |
