Research of gas turbine inlet cooling technology

It is significant to research and apply the technology of inlet air cooling of gas turbine,which is a key technology to improve the output capacity of the gas - turbine combined cycle unit in the high ambient tempera- ture. In this paper,the mechanism of the impact of inlet air temperature on the gas turbine output and thermal ef~ ficiency was discussed, and introduced the development process of the application technology; meanwhile it gave the comparative analysis in the main ways of inlet air cooling,which will provide reference for engineering application of inlet air cooling of gas turbine.
