Environmental Management Practices of Enterprises Processed Electronic Waste in Shanghai

The update of electronic products and household appliances leads to environmental pollution by waste electric and electronic equipment, harming urban environment and human health. This paper introduces the definition of electronic waste, environmental hazards, recycling value and growth trend with emphasis on the current status of waste household appliances dismantling enterprises in Shanghai. Some corresponding countermeasures to strengthen the management of electronic wastes and environmental management were prosed to promote the development of recycling economy.
