| Abstract: | Odor is one of the hot spots of ecological environmental complaints.At present,most of the current control measures focus on the end-pipe treatment,yet the effect is not satisfactory.With the goal of reducing the number of odor complaints and minimizing the influence of odor sources on surrounding environment,this study summarized the characteristics of odor sources,odor sensory evaluation methods,and factors that contribute to the impact of odor sources on the surrounding environment.Integrated control measures,from reducing the odor sources,controlling the diffusion of odor,effective end-pipe treatment and emergency management,are further discussed to provide effective countermeasures for controlling the complaint rate of odor more effectively,stably and economically. |
