Abstract:A method based on ion chromatography(IC) with conductivity detection was developed for simultaneous determination of formic acid,acetic acid,crylic acid and chloroacetic acid in water.Separation and analysis of formic acid,acetic acid,crylic acid and chloroacetic acid in water could be achieved at conditions of 1.0ml/min and gradient elution with 1mmol/l KOH.The linear ranges of the developed method were 0.01~10.0,0.01~20.0,0.01~20.0 and 0.01~20.0mg/L for acetic acid,formic acid,crylic acid and chloroacetic acid,and the corresponding detection limit were 0.003,0.002,0.003 and 0.004mg/L,the relative standard deviation for 0.05mg/L and 1.00 mg/L mixed standard solutions were good.The spike recovery ranging in 96%~117% was obtained when applying this method to analyze the four organic acids in water.
