| Abstract: | This paper systematically analyzes the superiority of natural resources and the new features of the economic development in the resettlement area of Xiangxi River Basin following the construction of the Three Gorge Project.Both the existing and the latent eco environmental problems that would occur in the area,together with the main factors that restrict the economic development are indicated.The focal points of resource exploitation,industrial development as well as the approaches of regional eco environment construction and sustainable development are also discussed in this paper. |
