| Abstract: | Abstract After a careful study,the environmental problems createdby the chan-
ge of water amount and mineralisation degree in the lake have been identified.The
results of a simulation show it is no possibility that the water of the lake,
with a mineralisation degree 1900 mg/l,changes into fresh water.The water balance for
developing a power plant has been calculated.The impact on aqutic environment and
wildlife can be negligible.The impact on water flowing into Yarlungzangbo River is
expected to be negligible for drinking and irrigation purposes. |
