| Abstract: | Methods for measuring exhaust pollutants from in-use vehicles under short operating mode are presented; ASM, IM240 and VMAS, the most popular measuring methods, are described and compared. A cost effective new VMAS test system is introduced covering its principle, components, applications, and advantages. The paper also forecasts the future application of these measuring methods in China. |
