Abstract:Existing reinforced concrete structural design method is based on the experimental study of small size components.The design of large-size components of science and rationality needs further study.This paper produced 4 columns of 2 groups reinforced concrete,eccentricity is 0.6h0,cross-sectional geometry of the specimen is 200 mm×200 mm,400 mm×400 mm.This paper studies damage characteristics,ultimate strength and sectional strain properties of reinforced concrete columns under eccentric loading in the same eccentricity and different sizes.Study found that the bearing capacity of large-size specimens decreased,large-size section of specimen strain distribution is lower than the small-size of the extent consistent with the plane section assumption.Size effect of the specimen curvature is also observed.
