Wherever underground coalmine is exploited, the ground water discharge is accompanied. While the whole world is suffering from a lack of fresh water, the wastewater discharged from coalmines, as a pollution source, is pouring into rivers day and night, which is a vexed prohlem for environ- mental protection departments to face. And also, it cost coalmines dearly to control and treat wastewater. The main point of this paper is to discuss the problems of how to make waste water discharged from coal mine come up to the standard, reuse it as mineral resources and water resources, and ease the coming crisis of water shortage.
