| Abstract: | Grain-size characteristics of the Quaternary sediments from the eastern Yangtze delta are analyzed to discuss the palaeoenvironment during different geologic periods.The article also studies the sedimentary environmental evolutions controlled by the neo-tectonic activities,palaeoclimate and sea level fluctuations in the study area during the Quaternary. |
