| Abstract: | Insect antimicrobial peptide is a kind of polypeptide that has specific immunity against bacteria,fungi,virus and other pathogenic microorganisms.It possesses specific characters,such as heat-durability and broad-spectrum antibiotic,and has attracted great attention in its application and research.This paper briefly reviews the classification of different insect antimicrobial peptides,their biological functions and progress in genetic engineering research.Ref 33 |
