Re-reading Steady-state: Thinking of Circular Economy

Based on keeping the balance of substance and energy, steady-state economics argues that low circular rate should be kept in two systems of nature and social-economy with the aim of sustainable development. As its tendency of abstention from consumption and suspicion of technical omnipotence, steady-state economics has never been a mainstream theory. However, in the process of promoting circular economy, it is necessary to review and assimilate nutrition from steady-state economics. China is not rich in the natural and environmental resources, so the material recovery the cost of energy and low-entropy material should be taken into consideration in the process of developing circular economy.
