| Abstract: | The relationship between the safety protection for nuclear power station and the study of impact damage of materials is described.The behavior and model of damage of materials impacted by free-flying objects and methods for predicting the damage and their application range are described. Finally,some suggestions on the study of impact damage properties of materials are put forward. |
