| Abstract: | An optimizaed protective structure design for spacecraft against super-speed impact of meteoroids and space debris is presented. A model of space debris environment is incorporated into an overall optimization methodology by employing engineering models developed to predict the requirements of protective structure design for super-speed impact loads.The model might be useful in designing the protective structure of the spacecraft. |
