明清时期南阳盆地的交通与城镇经济发展

交通是一个地区城镇经济发展至关重要的因素。明清时期 ,南阳盆地形成了以丹水、湍水、白河、唐河为主干的水路网和以方城路、三鸦路、商洛路、邓州路、桐柏路为主干的陆路网。盆地内星星点点的城镇分布其上 ,或通过水路 ,或依靠陆路 ,或水陆联动 ,以致货物聚集 ,商品经济迅速发展。后来 ,不少城镇则随着交通线路的兴衰而消长。探讨这一变迁过程 ,对于充分开发利用该区域的国土资源 ,进行合理的区域和城镇发展规划 ,促进当时经济建设 ,当有裨益。

TRANSPORTATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INTOWNS AND CITIES OF THE NAN YANG BASININ MING AND QING DYNASTIES

Transportation is a key factor in the development of economy,especially for towns and cities.During the period of Ming and Qing dynasties,a water transportation network was formed along some major rivers,ie.the Dan,Tuan,Bai and Tang rivers,and a land network along several main roads,ie.Fang Chen,San Ya,Shang Luo,Deng Zhou and Tong Bai roads.All towns and cities were at that period located on either the land or the water network,so that merchandise could easily be gathered,and then the trade on commodity had experienced a rapid development.However,the number of towns and cities varied with the change of transportation.The analysis of the change may be beneficial for the nowadays exploitatioin of the resources,and also the planning for further development and economic construction in this area.
