华南地区应力测量与分析

本文分析、讨论了华南区的应力场特点及其与地震的对应关系。结果表明,华南地区是中国大陆应力值偏高的地区之一,至今尚未达到水平应力均恒,存在明显的水平应力差值;其应力分布主要受菲律宾海板块和印度洋板块的影响。块体内应力方向比较一致,最大水平主压应力方向为北西向。由于存在明显的水平应力梯度,华南区应力值有随时间增大的趋势。

MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS OF THE STRESS FIELD IN SOUTH CHINA

In this paper the feature of stress field in South China and its corresponding relation to earthquakes are analysed and discussed.Results show that South China is one of the regions on China continent where the stress value is higher and the balance of horizontal stresses has not been attained so far.There exist obvious differential values of horizontal stresses in South China.The distribution of stresses is chiefly effected by philippine Sea Plate and Indian Ocean Plate.The direction of interplate stresses is basically consistent.Direction of maximum horizontal principal compressive stress is NW.Because there exists obvious horizontal stress gradient,the stress values in South China trend to increase with time.
