| Abstract: | The characteristics of old people are studied and the present situation of products intended for old people is analyzed. The necessity of adopting human-based design for the products used by old people is discussed. Based on human-based design considerations, the importance of human-based design principles for products used by old people is proved with some human-based design principles for products aimed at old people presented. |
