| Abstract: | This article introduces the mainly damage mechanisms and testing standards of the steel vertical welding atmospheric storage tank, and also introduces various kinds of application feature in the inspection of the atmospheric storage tank. The concept of risk based inspection is introduced and active tank inspection techniques and strategies are proposed. |
