| Abstract: | The paper demonstrated the important role that the disaster insurance played in respect to alleviating the losses caused by natural disasters taking the natural disasters in Jiangsu province and suggested that the disaster insurance ought to be adopted as an important measure in the preventive strategy against disasters in regions which are economically well developed. |
